Found Deceased NJ - Maxwell Pepe, 25, Atlantic City, 11 Oct 2019

Maxwell Pepe, 25, has lived in Ventnor and Atlantic City his entire life and was working as a driver recently in the resort.

Pepe had been robbed days before he went missing and told his uncle he felt threatened by someone. He is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a freckle on the middle of his nose. He has a close-cropped beard and recently got a haircut.

A Facebook page, "Searching 4 Maxwell pepe," has been established to aid in their search.

Another search event is planned for Wednesday.

Maxwell Pepe, of Atlantic City, was last seen Oct. 11, police said Wednesday. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and black hat and black sneakers.

I wonder if anyone thought about tracing his girlfriend's cell phone. According to the news stories, Max went missing on October 11, 2019. His girlfriend posted that her phone was missing the morning of October 13. It may just be coincidence, but police should be able to obtain records from the cell phone provider.

The body of a 25-year-old man missing since Oct. 11 was found in Atlantic City Wednesday night, said his aunt.

Officers from the Ventnor City Police Department visited her niece's home on behalf of the Atlantic City Police Department around midnight to break the news.
