Some really strange stuff coming out of New Jersey. My first instinct is that they’re moving nukes and the drones are acting as surveillance - but then I guess their cover would be blown by now. What are your thoughts? MOO IMO

In a village close to a military site, residents report aerial vehicles hovering above their houses.

Even more interesting/concerning, the drones are also being seen around US military bases in the UK.

IMO MOO a lot of people seem to think they’re extraterrestrial. I don’t think so - they’re FAA compliant with lights.

My thoughts:
1. the government would never allow this to happen - which means they are government drones.
2. the government doesn't want us/anyone to know they have the drones - so they are probably advanced tech surveillance drones
3. they are being used to search for the united health ceo killer (flying over NY/NJ) OR are a deliberate attempt to distract the public from something else

Good point. In that case perhaps there is something very high value / sensitive at these military bases, and they are government surveillance drones keeping an eye on them.

I think they are from a foreign government - either China or Russia - and have been sent aloft to spy on infrastructure and military facilities. I think these countries consider the use of the drones espionage overflights, but without some of the risks of piloted aircraft. Since this is relatively new technology, the responses to these overflights have yet to be developed. They are difficult to track and shoot down. As noted in another post, similar things are going on in Europe.

The recent video, filmed in a car at night, appears to show flames and smoke emerging from the side of a road. "There was like a craft that crashed out of the sky. It was crazy. I don't know what's going on," someone said in the recording.

Phil Murphy posted on social media he had met with Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, members of the federal Department of Homeland Security, state police and members of the Garden State's congressional delegation "discuss reported drone activity over parts of North and Central New Jersey."”

Discussing what? I’m feeling more like this was a ‘stop bringing attention to this’ convo, not brainstorming ideas on the source of the drones ….

Yes, I’ve seen reports in Europe beginning 11/20/24. It’s been about the same for the US sightings! I am tentative to believe our govt would allow foreign drones in our airspace, but thinking back to those balloons that passed over the country, they didn’t do much…

I think the ability to respond to foreign drones would depend on where they were launched from. If they were launched from a location within this country, they would be over their destination before we could identify and intercept them. The foreign adversary might have purchased US property that they are using for a launch. It is also possible that they are being launched from a foreign ship in port. The problem is one of time and distance.
