I can't figure out the reason for the 9 1/2hr distance but their descriptions match somewhat. The pics have a pretty good resemblance, especially the nose, eye shape, and high cheek bones( imo). Clothing doesn't match but that is easily changedas are hairstyles. Thoughts?

Shalonda T. Harts bears a resemblance to JD but her weight is off by 10 pounds. She disappeared from NE Columbia, SC in April 2012. There's no mention of jewelry nor is any shown in the one photo on her NamUs profile but the photo at the RCSD website looks as if she's wearing hoop earrings. Perhaps she hitched a ride from the Flying J to NJ where she stayed until her death?
