Circumstances of Discovery​

The decedent was found floating in the Passaic River on December 9, 1990 behind an auto body shop off Belmont Avenue.

She was found about 10 A.M. by the owner of the Golomb Service Station, about 15 feet from the riverbank.

I was watching a podcast a couple days ago on this case. One of the women on the podcast said this Jane Doe may have been a legal or illegal immigrant or could have been homeless. The reason that the theory that this Jane Doe could have been homeless is that she was wearing alot of clothes when her body was found. The Jane Doe could have also lost contact with her family in her country of origin if she were an immigrant.
