DNA tests confirm ID of baby found along Raritan River
By Barbara Boyer

Inquirer Staff Writer

Genetic testing confirmed that the infant found along the Raritan River last month was the child allegedly abducted and thrown off a bridge by her father as he fled to his parents' Winslow Township home, authorities said Monday.

Investigators initially believed the body found April 24 was Zara Malani-Lin Abdur based on the pink-and-gray onesie she was wearing, but DNA testing was needed for the confirmation.

N.J. man gets life in prison for throwing baby daughter off bridge

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/11/nj_man_gets_life_in_prison_for.html#incart_river

Superior Court Judge Bradley Ferencz could barely contain his anger today as he sentenced Shamsiddin Abdur-Raheem to life in prison for tossing his infant daughter off a bridge and into the Raritan River two years ago.

"Mr. Abdur-Raheem, you're conduct is despicable," Ferencz said. "You are not a good person. You should never see the streets again.

I can only imagine the restraint this judge must of used when even looking at this MONSTER, let alone taking to him. How can someone toss their baby off a bridge like a piece of garbage. OMG, that poor baby girl. RIP precious angel....you did not deserve this :banghead:
