Just devastating. I pray arrests are coming soon. This was a barbaric act by animals who need to be locked up for life. IMO.

Social media muddles investigation of deaths of 2 teens

so if you read down, it says investigators have been out of state on this case and there is supposed to be an update today? this lines up w "things" I have read online. im hoping they are closing in.

The barbarism is just ramping up in communities and young people (innocent and clueless as to the dangers of the worlds they are dabbling in) are paying a terrible price. I hope an arrest is coming fast.

Sandoval Co. Sheriff's Office seeks public's help in case of teens' deaths

not much of an update. first they complain about social media then ask the public's help. I hope they have something going on behind the scenes and are asking for ppl THEY KNOW KNOW SOMETHING to speak up. someone has that snap. there is more to the story and you can research on social media and get the gist of it.

Perhaps the junior high/middle schools could share with their students what happened to these boys - brutally murdered for small time weed dealing. Don’t know if it would dissuade any teenagers if they are already into it.

My guess is that at least one of the perpetrators had been to the area where the bodies were found.

When under stress of any sort, most people instinctually turn to areas that they have at least a passing familiarity with. This individual would probably be the leader as he would not be amendable to being led to an unfamiliar area by another member of the group.

I wonder if the area is frequently used by target shooters? Likewise, perhaps the perpertrator got familiar with the area by 'ATVing', a lovers lane or by living in a rural home in the area.

Well imo they should just arrest him already, or let the world know he's wanted.
He's dangerous, he doesn't belong in the same world as our kids.
Innocent kids are being attacked on FB, LE needs to speak out.
They know full well who did this.

Just returned from Albuquerque. Unless you were specifically looking for news about this story, you're not going to find it. Found very few people who even were aware. So sad...

Finally, some movement!

Rio Rancho man accused of evidence tampering in case of missing teens
The Sandoval County Sheriff's Office has charged a 36-year-old man with evidence tampering in the investigation of two murdered teenagers.

Anthony Aragon is a resident of Rio Rancho and is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges from out of the state. Aragon has been charged with two counts of evidence tampering in the case of Collin Romero and Ahmed Lateef.
The Sandoval County Sheriff's Office has stated that they are working with another district's District Attorney's Office in order to extradite Aragon to New Mexico.

Seems like he is quite a bit older than these boys. Is it drugs or is it pedophilia?

Just wondering.
