Collin's mom made a post about justice is coming today in the justice group on fb. I recall her saying similar previous to the last arrest going public, so I am hoping she knows something. LE has asked her not to share everything.

they gotta know who the others are....

so in hindsight.... the suspect they just named was arrested in OR around this time on a warrant.... I was right.

Prosecutors say the same gun used to kill another man was used in the murder of the two boys. I'm not sure why my copy/paste isn't working, but it's on krqe.com

Prosecutors reveal 19-year-old is suspect in double murders of 2 teenage boys

[...]

Prosecutors are fighting to keep the 19-year-old Stephen Goldman locked up. They revealed Wednesday in court that he is a suspect in the murders of two people.

KRQE News 13 has learned those two individuals are 15-year-old Collin Romero and 14-year-old Ahmed Lateef. The boys' bodies were found on the mesa in Rio Rancho on New Year's Eve.

At this time, no one has been charged for the teen's deaths but prosecutors say they do have evidence linking Goldman to the case.

"Bottom line is he killed two other people with that same weapon they found casings from. Is that right," said Judge Charles Brown.

he didn't kill anyone else. he was involved in a drive by and also chased after and shot at one of two brothers he attempted to rob at a party. all three shooting had casing from the same gun.

<modsnip - quoted post removed>

I think that is the key concept. At the end of the day, these disgusting murders were not committed by one person. Rather, the murderer had at the very least, direct assistance from one other person- and possibly indirect or direct assistance from several more people.

The more people involved the merrier as that means that one of the suspects is likely to start talking once taken into custody. The fact that some suspects maybe indirectly involved in the deaths is also beneficial as it allows the police to offer attractive plea bargains in exchange for testimony that are likely to be accepted.

I hope that we see more anglo last names and anglo first name / spanish last names combinations regarding the suspects. Both naming formats drastically reduce the chance that suspects have any real ties to Mexico with relatives who would shelter them there. It also greatly increase the odds that they have no real place to go besides Albuquerque and other cities in the south west.

Also, both naming formats greatly decrease the chance the suspects are Mexican citizens and would thus benefit from Mexico's usual reluctance to turn over fugitives. Mexican fugitive law protects only Mexican citizens. Being of Mexican descent does not make one a citizen (of course a good number of New Mexico Hispanics have been in the US for centuries and are not of Mexican descent at all).

That trivia aside, the key points are multiple suspects and no where to go. My guess is that the more that are brought in, the greater chance that somebody starts talking soon.....

They should investigate some of those people on the suspect's fb who are posing like gangsters with automatic weapons as their profile pics. You can see the people who liked the suspect's cover photo.
