I've been debating her as a match myself. There's just so little info on Fruitland Jane Doe.

The Namus case was updated today, but no new exclusions were added.

Updated again on 19 December, so only 2 weeks later. Wonder if there is some movement afoot in the case?

Four Corners Jane Doe has been unidentified for 34 years today.

Her profile was updated again today and so was Judith Garcia’s (MP119663). Were they excluded against each other?

Maybe, but could it also mean that Judith's dental records have been added so she can be compared against this Doe? I recall something similar happening with Valencia Jane Doe and Pem Briggs before they were compared to each other, thought it was for DNA in that case.

I have to admit that I am low key hoping for both their profiles to be removed soon. Profiles are often modified shortly before being taken down, but New Mexico has been quite active adding new UID cases lately, so it’s probably just a coincidence that they were modified today.

ETA I can’t register on NamUs to see their exclusion, if someone could check if there are new exclusions for them I would really appreciate it.

I've just checked, and yes, Judith is now listed as an exclusion for this Doe.

San Juan county, This is the same county where suspected serial killer Robert Fry operated. However his killings were said to have started in 1996, although it’s a possibility he could have started earlier. He was known to kill both females and males, in one instance he kidnapped a woman with an accomplice took her to the desert raped and stabbed her, then beat her with a sledgehammer. He was condemned to death although that was changed to a life sentence. After watching the forensic files episode it was one of the more brutal crimes they profiled on the show.

Given though that this Jane doe was said to have died possibly years prior possibly in the mid or late 80s, then fry would have been too young as he was born in 1973. Detective said they haven’t ruled him out in other missing persons cases in the San Juan area.

There is another Jane doe who was found in Albuquerque with blunt force trauma, which fits fry’s mo as mentioned before he once used a sledgehammer to kill one victim, But the distance from San Juan to Albuquerque make it unlikely unless he traveled around New Mexico.

I think about this case sometimes and hope it will be solved soon. I feel she went missing from New Mexico or one of the adjacent states.

Barbara Bordeaux Randall went missing from South Dakota in 1984, there is very little available about her disappearance or if the date itself is accurate, even the height and weight are estimations, and there is only one photo available of her. She is a Native American woman and Oglala Sioux. The only other trace of her is a woman with the same name having run in’s with law enforcement in 83/84 (via newspapers), with so little evidence it is impossible to even compare circumstantial plausibility of her being Doe which is a shame. I do think there is similarities in face shape with the reconstruction, and have suggested it just in case, Barbara has 0 exclusions on Namus.
