On 10/13/2020, the Muleshoe Police Department received a report that Jaime Edgmon of Muleshoe, Texas, was missing.

An investigation has been initiated, and it has been reported that Jamie Edgmon appears to have been in Curry County, New Mexico, or Roosevelt County, New Mexico, near the time that she went missing. Her car has been located in Clovis, New Mexico.

The agencies involved in searching for Ms. Edgmon are the Texas Rangers, the Muleshoe Police Department, the Bailey County Sheriff’s Department, Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Department, and the Clovis Police Department. Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Jamie Edgmon are asked to contact the Muleshoe Police Department.
We continue to receive information and are following up on all leads. We are asking the public for assistance in this ongoing investigation and in locating missing person Jamie Edgmon.

Looks like Jaime witnessed a crime in progress.

Police believe a Muleshoe woman was killed early Tuesday morning because her assailants feared she would report them for crimes she may have witnessed.

Keith Cordova, 22, and Francisco Bustamante, 24, both are charged with murder in connection with her slaying in rural Roosevelt County.

Records show Jaime Edgmon, 41, was killed about sunrise Tuesday morning, approximately six hours after she may have witnessed a shooting in the vicinity of 10th and Pile streets in Clovis.

The first victim was not killed and identified his shooters to LE, so Jaime's death was completely pointless. I wonder what her association with the shooters was...am I correct that she was in a vehicle with them after the first shooting?

According to court documents, police believe she may have witnessed a shooting that injured a man. Police arrested Keith Cordova and Francisco Bustamante related to that shooting. Investigators say Cordova then led officers to Edgmon’s body.
