Why is Corrales the investigating agency? That’s several miles south of Abq and where she lived. Is there a reason to believe she was there? If so what? What was going on in her life at that time? Boyfriend? Job? Stalker? So little information.

Corrales is North of Albuquerque, not South.

Good question, this address is way NE, but still in ABQ.

And we don't know her tie to Corrales.

Maybe she grew up in Corrales, her family filed the missing person report from their home?

You’re right. I was thinking about Bosque Farms or Los Lunas for some reason.

Please don't remind me, I'm currently away from beautiful New Mexico, living in the Midwest.

I think it's sad that she doesn't seem to have any online posts by law enforcement asking for information.

"The skull and bones were found on Cabezon Road about four miles south of N.M 44 (now U.S 550)"

"Investigators believe the remains are those of a woman because some long hair remained"

So I didn't know this myself, but according to the National Library of Medicine:

"After entering the body, heroin is rapidly deacetylated to 6-monoacetylmorphine (6-MAM), which is then deacetylated to morphine."

There's like absolutely nothing in the area where she was found. So are we thinking she went there to use heroin in secret but then overdosed and died? Would she have gone to such a secluded place by herself, though? If so, she didn't drive there because no car was found. So did she hitchhike on US 550 and then walk the 4 miles to where her remains were found? And if she wasn't alone, did others just leave her there in a panic?

Asian with light brown wavy hair? Unusual, for sure. I wonder if they got her ethnicity right. And yeah, some Asian nations such as e.g. Caucasian Circassian nations have lighter and wavy hair and Indian and some filipino people also have wavy hair and of course anyone can bleach and curl their hair - but from experience it is far more likely the ethnicity is incorrect.

She could easily have been Euroamerican or a multiethnic Hispanic. Skull measure markers are just averages and there is a large margin of error.

Could be half-Caucasian I guess.
