ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Albuquerque Police anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of 42-year-old Jim Willis to contact them as soon as possible.

An alert identifying Willis as a missing endangered person said that when he left his residence on July 6, he was driving his wife's 2017 silver Ford Expedition. He did not take his wallet. His family believes his cell phone is off or the battery died. He was wearing a gray t-shirt at the time.

The vehicle Willis was driving was discovered Sunday on the West Mesa, vandalized and destroyed. Officers are concerned Willis may be in danger, an APD news release said.

Willis is a disabled veteran who has traumatic brain injury, manic depression and PTSD.

Anyone who has seen Willis or has any information about him is asked to call APD at 505-242-COPS or the Missing Persons Unit at 505-242-2677.
