[h=1]Albuquerque Police searching for missing teen[/h]

Albuquerque Police are looking for 17-year-old Justina Stevens. She was last seen Friday morning when her parents dropped her off for at La Cueva High School. Police say that she did not attend class.
According to police, Stevens may have traveled to Santa Fe on the rail runner with a friend. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a long sleeve white shirt and black and white pants. Police say she suffers from ADHD and PTSD and has a diminished mental capacity.

Justina Stevens, 17, was last seen when she was dropped off at La Cueva High School, although officials there say she never went to class.

Police say Stevens has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, and that she may have boarded the RailRunner to Santa Fe with a peer from school.

I was perplexed that a student with the mental capacity of a 5th grader would be attending high school, but it appears her school has a robust special education program. I hope she finds her way home and safe.

It wasn't her biological parents that dropped her off. She was in the foster system and it was her foster parents. Probably why there's not been as much news. A new article has also released the name of a fellow student who may have been traveling with her.
