Last Monday Kelly Johnson was in El Paso and getting ready to board a Greyhound bus to Roswell. That was the last time the family heard from her.
She was coming here to visit me, for my daughter's birthday, Susan Johnson said.
However, Susan Johnson said her mother never showed up. After hours of anticipating her arrival, she decided to file a missing person's report.
I've called the hospitals, I've called shelters, I've talked to Greyhound dozens of times, she said.
Susan Johnson says she's worried because it's not like her mother to just up and disappear, especially because she's disabled and legally blind.
She doesn't have any money on her and the cell phone she has doesn't have any time on it, she said.
In the meantime, her family is staying optimistic, hopeful that Kelly Johnson will be found soon, safe and sound.
