This whole thing is just odd. On one side of the coin, her family and friends knew she was headed to the Albuquerque area to visit a male friend. Then on the other side of the coin, the New Mexico police find a body (located just south of Albuquerque) that matches her description. And it took this long to put 2 + 2 together?

I can honestly say I don't think anyone in the Albuquerque area even knew there was a missing person from Durango (about 4 hours away) who family and friends believed was in the Albuquerque area.

I just don't get it.

Oh and here's another part I don't get; Durango gets Albuquerque news channels. So you would have thought when the New Mexico police had it all over the news that they were trying to identify this woman, someone in Durango might have noticed.
