It seems like I saw a forensic program about multiple women found buried in a NM desert...This could be a duplicate thread...

According to Google Maps, the drive time from Luna County to the West Mesa is four hours.

Now distance in the West is just different than distance in the midwest or the east coast, but that's a long way. IMHO this has nothing to do with the West Mesa remains.

Check a map, Deming, NM is in Luna County. Luna County extends to & shares the border with Mexico. I can't find any further information about the location of the remains other than "the desert." 35 miles of that desert lie between that border & Deming itself.

Likely this young lady is undocumented and crossed the border informally.
