New Mexico State Police have issued a Silver Alert to help the Gallup Police Department locate a missing woman.

According to police, Martha Burns was last seen around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday on Green Street in Gallup. She was wearing a green flower print shirt, dark jeans, and a blue jacket. Police say she wears glasses, walks with a limp and often wears jewelry on both wrists. She is believed to be in danger if not located.

Police describe her as an 80-year-old Native American female, 5'4", 140 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Gallup Police Department or 911.
