On so trying to wrap my head around this.

1. Michael was “in the custody of a family friend”.

2. Mom is in jail.

3. Dad has a warrant out for (see above post, waiting for mod ruling).

4. The “family friend” gave Michael to a man named “Silence” and a woman named Nancy and little is known about these subjects.

Now I hope Michael can have/find a safe, stable household? His mom is in jail, dad has a warrant out and failure to appear with violence and child abuse charges (where is he?), one grandmother possibly deceased, what’s next for this little one? Does he have someone loving and stable to raise him?

I don’t want Michael to end up like Lucas or Evan...

I would assume LE is on this. Will he be turned over to child services?

Will they arrest his dad?

This case is far from over, imo. This child needs to protected from whatever stuff is going on with the parents.

What’s the mom in jail for?

Does Michael have somewhere safe to go? Surely the cops aren’t going to send him to a dangerous environment? Will Michael go back to the “family friend”?

I’m still very worried about this little one.

Thanks for the update, Darling136. I’m afraid I’m not so sure how safe this child really is though.

Is he in Foster Care? Has he been returned to the “family friend”? When does his mother get out of jail? Has the father been arrested for his failure to appear on Child Abuse Charges? Will Michael return to a home where there is also Domestic Violence in addition to child abuse? What was the deal with the family friend giving him to a couple they couldn’t find?

I/we have learned a lot from Lucas’, Evans, Sherin’s (the list goes on) cases. We need early and preventative resolution in matters like this, moo. I want to know that this kid is going to be safe in the future and will not be another victim of a failed system which often occurs. Repeatedly.

This turned out a whole lot better than I thought it would. This child needs a stable and loving home environment. I hope steps are taken to make sure this little guy is cared for by people who can give him the kind home that he really needs.

As others have said, I'm still worried too. This is not over yet.
