The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office is urgently requesting the public's assistance in locating 68-year-old Richard Hoak. Richard was last seen on 1/7/25 in the area of Atrisco Dr SW and Draxton Ave SW, wearing black pants, black jacket, and white shoes. He may also be wearing glasses and/or an eye patch. Due to the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, law enforcement is concerned for his safety. If you have any information, please call Missing Persons Detectives at 505-695-9747

He‘s a veteran and former New Mexico state police officer. Now a family is making a desperate plea for help after they say their Albuquerque relative has been missing for nearly a week. Sixty-eight-year-old New Mexico native Richard Hoak lives in the South Valley and his family says he’s an active man but went missing off Central six days ago.
