No cause of death. No new MSM articles. There is a memorial service today at 4pm MST at Farmington church. There is a call in number if anyone wants to listen to the service that information can be found elsewhere online (I don't think I can post it).

I'm not stumped. I'm just waiting. I think LE has their suspect and is hopefully building a case.

Perhaps the condition of the body was such that they knew she had not been out there the whole time? Or perhaps other people/rangers in the area knew that she could not have been there (had been in that area recently without finding her).

She went missing January 18 and they want people who may have seen her between Feb. 17-18 in the four-corners/ Flagstaff area. That's pretty specific not to have some kind of lead.

If she was alive until Feb. 17-18 and in the company of someone, then it would rule out someone from the church community, I would think. Their absence certainly would have been noticed for that length of time.

I just went over to the San Juan County Sheriff department's page and they have put out an apology for stating the wrong dates. The sheriff meant to say January 18th and 19th and NOT February 17-18. You have to scroll down a ways to find the correction, down to a March 20th entry.

Wow. Initial report doesn't indicate any suspect-victim connection. If this was just based on air force base records like about registered vehicle and checkout/check-in I'll be very impressed with the military. Maybe something about him made him suspicious to his squadmates or immediate superiors.
