Sharon Patterson was reported missing on April 21, from the 600 block of North Fifth Street,

Carlsbad Police officers conducted a welfare check on Patterson the day she was reported missing. Neighbors told officers Patterson was not seen for three or four days.

It appears that law enforcement is looking into possible foul play in the disappearance of an elderly Carlsbad woman.

Last seen after being dropped off at the Carlsbad Medical Center on April 21, 2019, about 2:00 p.m. There is no report of Patterson checking into the Medical Center.

Carlsbad police search for missing woman

An elderly Carlsbad woman was reported missing more than a week ago, and police are still looking for her.

Sharon Patterson was reported missing on April 21, from the 600 block of North Fifth Street, but had yet to be found by Tuesday.

Carlsbad Police officers conducted a welfare check on Patterson the day she was reported missing, read a news release from CrimeStoppers of Eddy County.

Neighbors told officers Patterson was not seen for three or four days, per the release.
