Why can LC give hearsay and her family can't say that Tera was telling them if anything happens to me Levi did it? This judge is ridiculous.

It's hard to read jury reaction during #LeviChavez testimony... some sitting on edge of seats, others leaning back

They never fought about money or the kids... maybe they fought about his sleeping with everything and anything with a heartbeat?

Oh.. loved the attempt to cry and didn't work.

I don't think wearing a pair of shorts in a courtroom is very respectful.

THank you all for the updates! I got online just in time to hear Mr. Chavez went to walmart and purchased underware, t-shirts, and hair jel. Cause he probably forgot those things when he spent the weekend with Debra. I would imagine that Mr. Chavez does not go anywhere overnight without his hair jel..............

Serna also referred to Rose as "Tera" several times. I'm surprised the prosecutor didn't jump on it sooner.

I like how he's talking about this woman (Debra) as very nice and at the same time he was courting his new wife, the detective. She's gotta love hearing this.

Gotta keep one in his pocket.....just in case the next one doesn't work out! What a sleezeball this guy is......I feel so sorry for Tera's family sitting there listening to how he treated their beloved daughter, sister, loved one.

I know. His failure to do so either indicates that the judge would have overruled him, or he just doesn't have the fighting spirit in him. Or if he objects too much the jury will not like it.
I will be honest and say I have a love/hate relationship with McKay. I feel disappointed in him a lot of the time, yet when he does something good I'm happy and thrilled. But down deep, I don't know if he has what he needs to bring this home for Tera's parents and that's what I want so badly. I want to see LC in prison for the rest of his life, but my heart is with Tera's mom and dad.

I'm trying to remember when Levi bought the four (?) bottles of cough medicine?

Did Mr. Chavez buy the cough medicine.......cause that would mean he had seen Tera to know she might have had a cold.........

I noticed, and I believe the jury understood it too, that both of the defense's expert witnesses when under cross admitted that they had not have that information, or documents, or were not made aware of certain things.

Like serna is telling or showing only what he wants to the experts so he gets the answers he wants.

Isn't that unethical as all getout?

It may be unethical but I have seen it happen in every single trial I have watched........the experts are given only the information that will supply the conclusion that the defense wants. I find it kind of discusting but I have seen it over and over again.

Yeah, so much for 'Before Us', that was during their 'us'.

It's done, it's disgusting, but not uncommon. Remember, they are being paid to say what one side or the other wants them to say. So the questions are posed to elicit certain responses.

This judge sure doesn't know how to tell time. He is late getting back on that bench every time there is a break or a start.

I just saw his wife smiling and laughing.. I guess she doesn't mind being married to a cheater and killer. Then again, the new one always thinks, "he'll never cheat on ME".

I don't understand it. Any half way on the ball prosecutor will pick up on the withheld data and bring it up on cross and the expert can sit there looking as if he has been hoodwinked by the defense and the jury can see the expert's reactions and answers as a result of the 'new' evidence and think, like I do, that the defense atty is a unethical and by default the person who hired him to represent him is capable of same behavior. This is who the defendant chose to represent him. A fellow scoundrel.

Back to court! And back to the Walmart purchase........and Mr. Chavez gently explains to the jury how he needs t-shirts for under his uniform.......LOL! He pointed out once again he was a police officer and that he was neat and clean on duty! I just can't see Mr. Chavez as a nice guy even though he is trying to make the jury see him as one.

And now an explanation of why his deposition was wrong in the timeline.....cause he did not have a calendar handy to look at.........
