I like this witness. She is on edge, but she's prepared not to let Serna get anything past her.

Why do women introduce guys to their children so soon in relationships???

I don't know what women and men do anything they do any more. I would not have introduced my kids to anybody for several weeks, probably months, back in the day.

He is trying to put words in her mouth.... drop it dude, she is not going to put a time on it.

So another words your client still had time to go over and kill his wife and come over to the witnesses house.

If LC is paying his lawyer I am thinking he found him off the jail house wall.

Do police forces pay for lawyers for their officers?

He just HAD to go there with the freak line. You knew he was going to...

I hate how the defense attorney directly reads out loud from hearsay statements to refresh the witnesses testimony.

Of course, he is as dependable as Nurmi mentioning certain things.

Did Mr. Cordova actually say only a murderer does that? Good for him if he did!!

Levis said something totally inapropriate like 'you have to deal with it (his daughter's death), in a week it will be over with'. and Cordova asked the court 'Who says something like that?'

and I say amen Mr Cordova only a murderer says that that's who.

I don't think so but then I didn't think they paid for funerals either.

Why didn't the State prep this witness? She is so important. Seems that they would have gone over her prior interview with her several times so she would have a fresh memory of her interview with Jones.

I imagine Serna's 'normal' conversation is filled with all kinds of things, including the f word. It comes out of his mouth too easily.

I think this defense atty, if he sniffed a rehearsed witness, could ask when the last time she and the state reviewed the testimony. IMO it appears more honest if the witness is foggy about a weekend several years ago and might need her memory refreshed.
