Is there anybody left on here besides me? Does it bother you that there is so much laughter and nonsense during these interminable breaks, it bothers me. I imagine it bothers some people in attendance.

And we even have one of the same witnesses from the Arias trial (Joey Citizen, Verizon guy), talk about land of the bizarro.

Oh my gosh, isn't that coincidental!! He sure acts like he would rather be someplace else and I don't blame him. I've never heard the name Citizen used as a last name before.

I think I'm alone here.
I have loaded the dishwasher and piddled around doing stuff near the computer so I can still somewhat hear. I don't know why in the world Serna has to go over each and every one of these cell tower locations. I know there is bound to be a point to it all but I sure don't see it and I know the jury doesn't. I need another nap.

No NCE, you're not alone, I just can't keep the feed going so have just been watching the tweets like I figure everyone else watching must be doing. I thought they said they fixed it? The picture/audio is better but the dropping is still as bad.

Anyways, when that guy got on the stand my brain started wondering where I'd seen him before, when he said his name was Joey I heard 'Jody' and it came back, I went and found a pic to be sure. How weird huh, he must be the only cell tower witness in the 3 state region. lol

My buffering has been knocking me off about every 30-40 minutes all day. I can live with that since it's so much better than earlier this week. But I am having a horrible time with all of this stupid examination of each and every call, it's cell tower route, the switches, the target phone numbers, etc.

I wonder if Mr. Citizen is an attorney himself since he works in Verizon's legal dept? Do you know?

  • #2,127
I'm in and out, as always.... :scared:

Oh wow, lucky Joey Citizen, he is fortunate enough to be cross examined by both Nurmi and Serna.

 Poor guy!

I was thinking that during the Brad Cooper trial the cell phone people said the seizure time was the amount of time it took to answer the incoming call? They are saying something different here. I think. I'm swimming with numbers in my head--will have Tera and Levi's phone numbers permanently planted in my memory for eternity. I am determined to sit here until the judge dismisses for the day.

I understand that Serna is trying to prove that calls were being made and pinging off the various towers during the time LC was supposedly murdering Tera. But LC could have given his phone to most anybody for a few hours that night/early morning hours. If Serna doesn't hurry up and make his point all of this will be in vain as the jury will be totally lost and if they have to come back tomorrow for more of this same testimony, they just won't give a flip.

How would this witness know when the defendant worked or not.

What is wrong with this judge?????????

The judge is an idiot who lets Serna call all the shots. He should be reported to some sort of higher authority.

Well, I guess we are finished for the day with respect to watching. I don't think I could stand 15 more minutes of Serna anyhow.

See you TB tomorrow, have a good night!

Oh gosh I was so lost this afternoon. I was listening in the car while waiting for my son at his rehearsal. I just zoned out. It was all so dry and Serna's voice over and over and over. I drove home and hung out with my husband. Did Serna even accomplish what he was trying to do by making an alibi out of the cell phone pings. I was glad the jury kept asking for little breaks because this stuff was so dry at least the breaks help them to stay alert. IMO take as many as you wanted I sure needed too.

JSS is not an experienced criminal trial judge. She never should have been given a DP trial as her first trial.
This guy is apparently an experienced criminal trial judge...but he does not act like it. I don't understand. .have they all been taking notes from JA's trial????

OOps!! It's a white shoe day for Serna. He must think they bring him good luck.

:tears: I missed a white shoe day!!!

I will admit I got sucked into Zimmerman. The smooth feeds did me in
Going to try to :juggle: them both tomorrow though, I think I need a GZ break anyway.

NC, Is your Mom-in-Law OK? You may have already posted about it, but I am still catching up on the thread. Just saw you were worried about the phone call and thought I would make sure all is ok.

Again, Thanks for all the updates to you regulars, I appreciate them!
