It was obvious to Levi that Tera was dead.

Years ago I found a loved one. He looked like a marble statue, he was no longer breathing and looked blue. That didn't stop me from demanding the 911 operator tell me how to give him CPR until the ambulance arrived.

I have never run into someone who loved a person and initially refused, against all evidence to the contrary, to accept the person's death. Instead they want everyone to bring the person back, to do CPR, to jump start their heart. I've never known anyone accepts the death of a loved one so casually UNLESS that person murdered the victim.

Levi just said it=---because of her CP she was thinking about getting a job at the courthouse where his mom worked. She couldn't stand for long periods of time because she was pigeon toed due to the CP.

If it was the mother of my children, supposedly worried about her well-being to go to the house to check on her.. didn't even try to check her pulse? If it were my husband, I would do anything and everything I could to bring him back.
