NM - Tera Chavez, 26, found dead in her Los Lunas home, 22 Oct 2007 - #1

He's lying again about TC making threats about hurting herself. I don't think she began making the threats as early as when they lived in VA. That's his big alibi basis so he has to expand on it.
I wish McKay would rein him in a bit.

Good intentions don't mean Jack if your heart is not into it. Levi is not a good liar!

IMO the more Levi talks the more likely he is to screw up. It is hard to remember lies. Lies don't come to mind like the truth does. His body betrays his stress with darting eyes and belligerent demeanor.

Always check the source and if the source is a proven liar take everything that comes out of his mouth with a big shovel of salt. JMO

Oh absolutely. That's why I posted the original just as it came out of his mouth-----he was lying again.

We know that but we can only hope the jury does. I don't like the way he just goes on and on and on without answering a yes or no.

LC thinks he won that round.

LC is so worried about the PT trying to trip him up. It is comical! This is almost reminding me a little of LaVioliette (SP) who couldn't give a yes or no answer.

AT least the jury can hear that Mr. Chavez's voice is sort of "off" in regular conversation.....which means when he was crying and upset his voice really wasn't that much different than now......that is good!

I prefer to think that other people including the people on the jury have as much brains as I do. It gives me hope that the right verdict will be reached by 12 people with smarts and common sense. The only difference is what the jury has been told and what we know outside of the testimony given. ie the papers filed in the lawsuit.

The only jury that threw me for a loop was the bunch from Florida at the C Anthony trial. I didn't see the accquital coming.

Hilarious.. just now Serna saying to Chavez, "You shouldn't say yes to something when you don't know what it is"

  • #3,231
Serna just got on Levi for asking for something if he doesn't know what it is.

Is the judge trying to rush McKay? I was just going to post I hope McKay takes his time and has to come back tomorrow. Now it looks like the judge wants them both done today.

Yes, but this jury probably doesn't sit around following various trials all over the country like we do. They are not as well informed as we are because we have been exposed to way more than they probably have. I, too, hope they have the smarts and common sense to see what's what but again, we know what we have experienced in past trials and this may be their very first.
The Florida jury really threw me too.

I saw that too and then they all looked at the clock. Doesn't surprise me at all.

That's it?

I think I may be the only person in the US that didn't watch the CA trial. At that time I had no idea what it was all about. Not until Lisa Irwin and people were comparing her with CA. Lisa Irwin happened just about 40 miles from where I live.

He shouldn't be able to carry those now. He is no longer an employed by law enforcement.

My thoughts exactly......prosecution did not go far enough in cross again!

I think Serna could have re-directed even more. I think the PT scored thanks to LC.

The defense rests.......closing tomorrow?
