She seems to have been both intelligent and to have travelled. Boston College Magazine details a Boston College poetry slam in 2003 where a Tiffany Reid who matches her description takes part as a member of a Navajo Nation team from New Mexico. Whilst this does nothing to find her it does suggest to me that she would have had the character to leave if she chose.

Some new information from The Charley Project:

Tiffany Reid – The Charley Project

"Details of Disappearance
Tiffany was last seen on her way to school in Shiprock, New Mexico at 8:20 a.m. on May 17, 2004. She never arrived has never been heard from again.
Tiffany was carrying a black backpack and a purse with her nickname, "Kay-C", printed on it when she was last seen. Her mother did not report her missing for a week, as Tiffany had run away from home before and always came home.
Tiffany is believed to have left of her own accord. After her disappearance, her makeup bag was found at a well-known party area at the base of the Carrizo Mountains near Sweetwater, Arizona. Numerous items of clothing were also found in the area, but the clothes could not be identified as Tiffany's.
She may still be in the Shiprock or Sweetwater areas, or she may be in Arizona or Mexico. Her case remains unsolved." BBM

Hello, I can only find an unidentified girl who passed away in Tempe in April 2002. But Tiffany reportedly went missing in 2004. If you mean a different Tempe case, could you post a link to the case? Thank you.

The sister said that it has been 17 years & they still had not then that they tried 3 years later & they once again never did they just recently put her in as a missing person & tiffanys mother by then had some type of cancer & had to make her report one more time & she had just had chemo & started losing her memory & could not remember everything so some details she told could be wrong

That is why on tiffanys clothing description there is nothing & everything adds up including arizona they claimed that tiffany ran away several times but always came back I believe she did not because she left to Arizona to attend a party & that is why her bag was found at a well known party location then she hitched hiked & planned to attend a concert but then that is when they picked up the dealer & she had taken the cocaine & died & they dumped her their ages match they even say she spoke spanish mainly during the whole ride which would make sense if she just hitched hike from New Mexico

@Kitty49 So you think the year reported for Tiffany going missing could be wrong? It has happened before that dates were off. Two years off seems unlikely to me, though, but I'll try to read more about both cases soon.

Yes it seems very likely to me since they originally never put her in the system & the mother had cancer & couldn’t remember everything once it was time to try & file again

Not necessarily! Do we know from family that Ms. Reid spoke Spanish?

I'm a New Mexican stuck in the Midwest, understand spoken Spanish often, but do not speak it.

No chance at all of understanding Dine (or Tewa, Zuni, Keresan, ....)

Have you contacted LE or NAMUS about this set of remains & Ms. Reid's disappearance?

I believe the dates are off for her to match Tempe Jane Doe in AZ. Also the girl shown in the post mortem photos seem to have different facial features. Doesn’t hurt to report any close possibilities though. Hoping one day both families can find answers.

I think my post #2 eliminates her as being any Doe found before 2003 as she was taking part in a poetry slam in Boston in 2003. The post #5 linked article confirms that she was into poetry and had participated out of state in a slam - so I think we can be confident the Tiffany Reid in Boston is our missing when you also include the slam report specifying she came from New Mexico.
