I find it interesting there is no 'hard' evidence being presented. Surely the prosecution would be presenting everything they could to ensure GBC had no chance of getting bail. I mean they wouldn't just go half arsed about it.

It is only a bail hearing not the trial.

There is a long way to go yet.

Wasn't it already stated that GBC can't receive visitors in the medical wing?

Not that I know of.

They would be hoping to pick him up not visit I guess.

How awful that would be.

It is bad enough sitting here pressing the refresh button on my computer !

enough for no bail but want a lot more for the case. if they give out too much it helps the defendant better prepare their lies oops i mean their case

I'm sure that once bail has been granted it still takes a couple of days before the accused is released, paperwork and the like... Sorry I don't have a link for that...

I have no clue on that, hopefully that wont matter.

There is a suppression/non publication order! So not everything has been released.

I am no legal expert, but with the Supreme Court issuing a non publication for much of the evidence, could the court have already reviewed or be currently reviewing (reading docs) the evidence that is not allowed to be published?

Yes...but they can't stop people from waiting outside the prison grounds

I may have watched too many American crime shows byt doesn't the prosecution have to give the Defence all their evidence, beforehand?

I'm thinking they may have found that noted in Allison's journal...

Who knows...the spiteful $#%#%# may have written it in himself..

At this morning's bail application hearing for Mr Baden-Clay, it was also claimed police recovered a journal kept by his wife where she wrote about her husband's affair with Toni McHugh on April 18.

They say in their affidavit that this would have led to an argument between the two of them but Mr Davis said that was an assumption only.

The police are objecting to Mr Baden-Clay getting bail because they say he could interfere with potential witnesses.

It might be the case that Allison documented this diary in case something happened to her as she may have had suspicions that he was going to do her some harm??

This might of been Allison's way of letting someone know what had happened in the event that she dissappeared? IMO

Also, with all the pics taken of GBC during Allisons disapearance with the phone implanted to his ear I am wondering if any of those calls were to the insurance company?

Obviously the QPS have phone records or they have kept in close contact with the insurance company?

Either way, he sure is an idiot - Why didn't he think that these calls would be significant to the Police?

In the vision we see of the BC snr's car being searched they are using a blue light which makes me think they are suspicious of blood being in the car..IMO?

Also thought that while Pappa BC was outside with detectives what was being asked to Mamma BC....It was a great opportunity to seperate them and ask questions without each others presence?

Bridie Jabour‏@bkjabour

Because of a non-publication order request these are the only details of the Baden-Clay bail hearing we are publishing

We have printed only what is not the subject of the NPO RT

so hopefully what we heard is only a fraction of the evidence

They would still be presenting as much evidence as they could to ensure he doesn't get bail.

There has been nothing mentioned so far that is very damning.
