Yes and wasn't he still contacting her etc when Allison had gone missing? Perhaps the others weren't so (un)lucky to have him contact them too.

What a charmer.

Yes the bit about him having to lie low for awhile..it wasn;t clear to me if that was after Allison went missing? It sounded as though it was..which to me makes it even more callous and cold.. no remorse?? just waiting for it all to die down and he could start his new life? MOO

From the same video. No welts here.

What are you saying Makara? I don't understand....

I can't look at that photo!!! It just makes my blood boil! How could someone be so STUPID to call the insurance company before the body was identified? This guy has no grey matter! How could he have thought he would get away with it??? I don't think I have ever heard of another murderer that is so STUPID! IMO.

I picture him now in a cell crying his eyes out, like a little boy!

But as a psychopath (IMO) he would be going for the quick-fix...they are impulsive and don't like to wait for their *ahem* rewards. He needed financial security and freedom NOW not when he'd laboriously worked his way towards it, like the rest of us would have!

Sorry I'm confused Jillie on what you are responding to with my post?

That part is unbelievable isnt it..(not that the rest is easy to swallow). before she was identified?

Trooper, I can't figure out why he would be in allisons journal either. Maybe it was tucked into it on a seperate piece of paper, because even if it was some weird councelling activity she wouldn't give him her private thoughts to plonk it in the middle of. Imo.
Re the welts on hiss neck, pretty obvious and findernails would do that.....what about caterpillars? The furry kind? It actually looks quite a lot like those welts

I believe I read the sketch of TM's house was a separate paper inside Allison's journal.

He has lost more FB friends (abt. 10 in the last week), but big boss of C21 is still there! With the $75,000 GBC allegedly owes him, I cannot understand why he hasn't "unfriend" him yet.

Asserting that a case is weak when it obviously isn't, might suggest to a judge and the prosecution that the defence is weak. MOO.

I wondered about that Hawkins. They haven't got much to grab onto IMO. It struck me when I heard what the defence had said in support of his bail hearing that it really was clutching at straws, extremely weak. For example now that we know the girls were at home the night of the murder, the idea of saying he needs bail so he can care for his daughters loses a lot of it's credibility. In fact, IMO it just puts it up for scrutiny and the ultimate response to that scrutiny is the opposite - ie that in actual fact you wouldnt want him having access to the girls because of one of the very factors that precludes bail, and that is the possiblity of interfering with witnesses.

Just this part:
If allisons parents were loaded and divorcing would cut him out of money, I think he was silly choosing murder, as that sure as eggs will cut him out of anything. MOO

I wasn't disputing anything you said, but was saying that he needed the money and "freedom" urgently....he wasn't thinking of the long-term, that's all.

Thankyou Jillie i don't know what i did wrong. I just made up a display pic with Allison and some sunflowers. I was going to put it in my display pic but obviously it didn't work :(

Hi angel, it's showing up on mine (IPad) and it is really beautiful, you are very clever!

Jillie, have a look at the first pic I posted where you can see what looks like welts on the neck. Look where the welts are sitting in relation to the stubble on the neck. Now look at the same area in the second pic I just posted. Look at the stubble line on the neck. I can't see any welt lines at all.

IMO the welts we are seeing in the first pic are actually neck wrinkles that have been picked up by the light.

That would make sense, it wouldn't surprise me if the stetch was a therapy exercise meant to help Allison in someway...

Drawing, writing, painting are common practice in therapy, sometimes these activities don't have a 'point' per say but a healing factor...

I would imaging it was done to help ABC understand where he was meeting TM, their routine when they were together, etc. I don't think I could have done that. I would have kicked him out the door!

Okay. This was my original thinking when I said I didn't see anything suspicious - ie just neck wrinkles....but when it was magnified, it did look like welts.

Channel 9 News - Tomorrow's fund raising at Brookfield expects to raise $20,000 for the girls' fund. Organizers have requested people wear "yellow" in ABC's memory.

But, IMHO, a therapy only used when there has been significant mental trauma....

So so true.

If you read all of the blog below it is a very spot on discription as to what Arthur Gorrie is like in a prisoners eyes.
It is explained here.....eg...Don't even stare at anyone.

Thanks for the link Keentoknow....that is truly an interesting read...the reality of prison!!!

I've also been reading through some old reports...I wonder what they'll make of the "burger man" in there??

April 28, 2012

Brookfield, where residents gather once a month for a "happy hour" at the showgrounds, was yesterday as dour as the overcast sky.

The Baden-Clays were fixtures at the monthly gatherings where he was known as the "burger man"
