Fisherman caught a 9 1/2 ft , 450 lb Tiger Shark in the Lazeretto Creek about 1/4 mile from my house today.
Thats a big damn shark!!!!

One of the funnest (my daughter informs me that "funnest" is not a word, but I prefer it) things we ever did as a family was go to Sanibel Island and catch "black-tipped" sharks. They were catch and release, my son had so much fun. They were little though. Actually, beautiful animals.

Sure seems like there are more "large" sharks around lately. I'd be scared to go swimming at the beach these days.

We are going fishing when we go to OBX. My five year old said we can catch a shark but we can't bring him aboard.

My dad caught a nine foot tiger back in the late 80s. It was huge! I think I would freak out.
