I was once dating a guy that was taking flying lessons. He rented a plane (had a copilot) and I sat in the back. He flew along the river and over the site where we were talking about getting married. As we flew over, he reached back and handed me the ring. It was what dreams are made of. He also would have flowers delivered to me every week at work. Everyone loved him.

I think the thing that killed the relationship was me telling (nagging?) him to stop spending money on these flowers (they were always beautiful) on our fancy dates and on toys. I told him to go to school, pay off his debt, and save money.

Of course, when it all stopped, I missed it. Still, I am glad that I didn't end up getting married to him.
