The witness, 21, told local news: “She had been messing with a lady in front of her and telling her she was going to die, that we were all going to die.

“They escorted her out to make her stop messing around with all the other people, but none of us knew it was going to be serious.”

She described the lady as Hispanic. The lady was escorted from the venue along with a man.

The suspect, who was killed, was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, a resident of Mesquite. Authorities also said they were "confident" Paddock's roommate, Marilou Danley, had been located. Officials previously described Danley as a person of interest.

If you think this was political or terrorism, what change do you think the gunman had in mind? To bring about gun control? A ban on country music?

There's no evidence that this was anything to do with Islamic terrorism. The gunman was a traditional white male American mass shooter of whom there have been hundreds, if not thousands, over the years. With those types it always comes down to personal anger, revenge or spite.

Nothing political about it at all.

It's still terrorism.

Seems like shooting up a country music festival could be political.

With the hotel room they had and all the ammo they, clearly they were well organized. Saw a video on twitter, but it was not from a verified account, so I won't post it. However whoever was taking the video was just casually walking while this was going on. Probably another accomplice. Maybe it was the other Hispanic looking person the lady mentioned in the video?

The witness of the other people she saw trying to warn people is really strange. It sounds like another couple knew the incident was about to happen.

Who were they? I hope LE tracks them down. Maybe they knew of the other couple somehow.
