Sure, but it just seems to me that he'd have realized beforehand how much noise he was going to make and that he'd be located quickly. Also, one unarmed security guard couldn't have stopped him, why didn't he just go right after he shot the security guard?

Just my op but I find it unique that LE are being mind readers in coming out and stating he planned to escape.

I suppose it could framed as a possiblity but they seem to be turning into a fact .

If you notice in Pulse local cops pretty quickly turned FBI into lead -- these folks seem a little more rough around the edges and are not thrilled with the FBI -- I just dont think FBI would declare as fact that he planned to escape --ignoring the fact that he was found dead in the hotel

it has some agenda embedded -- in it -- his dept stopped the rampage when the fact is the shooter stopped shooting

they blew down a door a walked in on a body -- his dept did not engage or alter anything in terms of outcome /

its the mind reading part that bugs me

THe possibilty that the bomb stuff was for sale for some money seems actually more likely than he wanted to go do another attack moo

I'd expect them to be piled beside the two firing positions by the windows. I've seen nothing to suggest that any of the leaked photos were taken near the windows in what was in effect a very large suite.



Why should they? They're conducting an active murder investigation. They don't owe you or anyone else an explanation for what they're doing and saying.

Actually the window was in one of the leaked pics blowing inward.

Yes. After a shooting law enforcement will often use metal detectors to look for bullets buried in the ground.

The bullets being fired in Las Vegas were going faster than the speed of sound. Fast enough to pass through one victim and wound another. Some will be found in the victims. Others will be imbedded in equipment or walls or vehicles.

ETA: Counting the brass shells in the shooters hotel room will give us a precise figure on how many rounds were fired.

We've seen limited crime scene photos. We have not seen every inch of that room. Nor have we seen all of the area near the windows. Explain this to me, "IF" shots were fired from any other room besides the one Stephen was in, then HOW did they go through the windows and not shatter the glass? Not one other window in that casino is showing damage. So please, explain to me how someone was shooting from this floor, and that floor, without leaving any evidence of a single bullet going through a window, much less thousands of bullets as I heard those gun shots with my own ears. There were many of them.

the lower level windows opening would answer that if there were a way to determine that !

The above artice mentions he researched some others locations including Boston Fenway Park and Lollapalooza in Chicago...I had family members at that concert in Chicago..I'm am sick...I can't even imagine if....

Hi, it's almost 4am. I'm up making tea because I can't sleep after hearing about Lollapalooza. I heard he booked 2 rooms but was a no show, looking for link. I can't believe one entire side of my family was almost mowed down (brother and his family, flew in from out of state to take his kids there because they really wanted to go), came thaaat close, hits really close to home. Saying a prayer of thanks that he didnt shoot up Lollapalozza, and again prayers for the Las Vegas victims and their families. I could have been one of those people (families), and only now can really imagine what this must be like thinking about "whatif". Just sick...I can't believe this happened.

Are you accusing the Clark County Sherriff's office of some sort of cover-up with regards to this mass shooting?

Are you also accusing the FBI of participating in some sort of cover-up?

Do you live there or do you mean pictures? I saw some the other day of people walking around in booties and loading bodies into vans the next morning. Google search will show you. One picture had a stroller left in the middle of the concert area. That was hard to see and be reminded this was something that impacted people of all ages... [emoji17]

The iheartradio music festival happens every year in Vegas. I've always wanted to go. It was the weekend prior to this incident and I wondered why that wouldn't have been a place being talked about. It occurs at T-Mobile Arena, which is a covered space, so that explains he seemed to be more interested in the outdoor venues.
