Sounds like he was unkempt throughout his life -- that can be viewed as neurotic or in all likelihood an indifference - often related to depressed periods

From most reports he lacked social skills, was rude, angry often, aloof and basically disengaged from social part of his life

Real functionality includes the ability to get along with others and for them to be comfortable with your behavior.]

I wish we would hear more from the people who knew him 10-15 years ago. The Stephen Paddock that Lisa Crawford describes was a man that was friendly, fun to hang out with, liked to joke around and had not a serious bone in his body. She worked for him until 2012, if her account is true what happened in the subsequent five years to change him? To change him this much? It's like she's talking about a completely different person.

Also, just because he was prescribed Valium doesn't mean he took it and nobody knows how often he took it if at all.

He was supposedly looking to do this at other cities, going as far as actually booking a hotel room in Chicago. So that doesn't' suggest that Las Vegas was his specific target, sounds like he wanted to kill a lot of people, but not necessarily in Las Vegas.

I wonder why he was obsessed with his girlfriend's ex. Was it jealousy or did he perceive some injustice to himself or his girlfriend by the ex?
I'd be really interested to hear what he has to say.

Clint Van Zandt just said on MSNBC that Paddock was a conspiracy theorist and (unsurprisingly) a 9/11 "truther". I think his "enemy" was society, in general. He would have enjoyed killing massive numbers of people, not specific groups. JMO

If he is one of those conspiracy theorists maybe he wanted to create his own hoax to add fuel to the fire.

However, he didn't pull the trigger in any of the other cities. Just Vegas.

I don't think he really planned to kill anyone in those other cities. He and his gf went o a lot of concerts and shows over the years. Just because he booked a hotel overlooking a concert it does not mean he planned to kill everyone there. There are a lot of pictures on her FB of concerts and shows they attended.

I think he was resentful of Vegas, specifically. Vegas was where his father was arrested, twice. And vegas was where he was injured, and he was denied by the courts. I think he was very angry.

LOL Dunno, but the décor is enough to cause seizures! So tacky-ugly. I think that he spent more time in hotel rooms than he did at home and if he was such a high roller everyone knew what a weirdo he was and probably didn't check on him, knowing his habits. JMO

Not only that, but idk why they’d check on him. There was activity of him coming in and out of the room, and he also ordered room service.

I’ve never been checked on by the front desk in AC or Vegas when we’ve left the do not disturb sign up. We bring our own toiletries, and ask for towels when we see housekeeping in the hall. We order room service, use our players cards, and go in and out of the room so we are alive. We just don’t want strangers in our room when we have a lot of cash in there. I don’t trust the safes 100%. Maybe I’m just paranoid but we bring a lot of money and it’s not worth the risk to me.

I think Steve Wynn is full of crap and frankly I think he’s just trying to make it like his property is safer than the MGM resorts.

Except for overnight? I'm confused.

I know some hotels have different signs for the doors now. One is a do not disturb and another is refusing cleaning service or something similar. Others say to put towels on the floor if you want service or hang them up if you're using them again. Then they will just straighten up and take garbage. It's a personal preference but I've never had them come in my room when I put the sign out. That's the point of the sign.
When I stayed at a Marriot earlier this year, if I put out the card for not needing service, they credited my account reward points for being "environmentally friendly".

We check in at three or whatever and leave for flights depending on what time. I have never stayed in a hotel for more than overnight. If it was a vacation, I was at a resort although I have stayed at resorts overnight to catch a flight.

In the resort, they do knock. Unless it is five star, they do not have much of a cleaning crew onboard and have to pick up when they can. Overflowing garbage invites critters.

Yes, if those people are planning to set your house on fire while your family is inside.

He was on top of his APARTMENT BUILDING, THAT HE OWNED. There were people inside those apartments.

He had every right to stand on the roof with a rifle during the riots.

How does anyone know he planned to 'mow people down?' That was 25 years ago. If he had plans to mow people down at that time, what took him 25 years to get it started?

I think we should be accurate and realistic when discussing a perps history. We cannot look at every action they take in life and describe it as murderous. Let's be realistic.

Wny would one be on a roof with a rifle. Certainly not to say hello. He would have had every intention of shooting. What other reason could there be?

Suicide by rioters? Or suicide by cop.

Supposedly he went up on the roof with a gun to defend his property if rioters showed up. As far as I can tell, no actual rioters showed up. Or cops. I don't think it had anything to do with suicide.

In a hotel, they don't if you put a "do not disturb" sign on the door. I do that all the time when I stay in hotels. They won't come in or knock. That is the whole point of "do not disturb" sing-they don't disturb you. Front desk sometimes calls to see if I need anything cleaned. It's not going to raise a red flag, since a lot of people do it.

For how many days?

What's true:

What's false:

My friend’s daughter and three others girls were there but not at the concert, They were unable to get tickets.

The girls split up . Two tried to get tickets and the other two were one block away when people started screaming and running. They started running but did not know what was going on or where they should run to,.

I will skip the rest of the story and start at being home in MN.

My friend’s daughter could not get out of bed to go to work. My daughter went to see the other girl on Weds and when she opened the door, she started crying.

These girls are 40 and 44.I have known them before they were born. I guess they aren’t that young.

Anyway, I don’t they saw any carnage. They nevertheless are suffering from PTSD.

I can’t imagine what Breane is going through because she had to have seen a lot
