My friend’s daughter and three others girls were there but not at the concert, They were unable to get tickets.

The girls split up . Two tried to get tickets and the other two were one block away when people started screaming and running.They started running but did not know what was going on or where they should run to,.

I will skip the rest of the story and start at being home in MN.

My friend’s daughter could not get out of bed to go to work. My daughter went to see the other girl on Weds and when she opened the door, she started crying.

These girls are 40 and 44.I have known them before they were born. I guess they aren’t that young.

Anyway, I don’t they saw any carnage. They nevertheless are suffering from PTSD.

I can’t imagine what Breane is going through because she had to have seen a lot

Especially in the immediate aftermath I imagine everything was frightening and confusing. I don't think she's making it up or trying to get attention because the people I've seen do that are usually people who weren't actually there.

Yes, it was to say 'Hello.' As in 'Hello, We have loaded weapons, so please go away!'

You don't have to actually shoot anyone, to scare them away.

The 3 brothers on the roof next door to me shot straight down onto their own front lawn---only to show they weren't playing around.

The small mob that they were trying to scare away had been throwing bricks through windows and one house had a 'fire bomb' thrown into the broken window.

They had no intentions of shooting anyone in the street, unless one of them had tried to invade their home, where their parents and little sister were huddled inside.

Clint Van Zandt just said on MSNBC that Paddock was a conspiracy theorist and (unsurprisingly) a 9/11 "truther". I think his "enemy" was society, in general. He would have enjoyed killing massive numbers of people, not specific groups. JMO

We check in at three or whatever and leave for flights depending on what time. I have never stayed in a hotel for more than overnight. If it was a vacation, I was at a resort although I have stayed at resorts overnight to catch a flight.

In the resort, they do knock. Unless it is five star, they do not have much of a cleaning crew onboard and have to pick up when they can. Overflowing garbage invites critters.

Mandalay Bay is a resort and casino. I believe all of the MGM Las Vegas properties are.

In July I stayed at the bellagio for 5 days in a comped suite, do not disturb sign on the door the whole time. No one knocked or checked on us. If they did, I would have found it weird. However I did interact with many people. Concierge came twice, once to pick up my wedding dress to get steamed, then to drop it off. We ordered room service. It would feel weird to me if I was checked on bc I don’t want strangers in my room.

ETA id prob be annoyed if I was checked on. It’s my vacation and I’m not a child. If I need something I will certainly ask or contact my host.

You say you know a neighbor who shot from his roof during the LA Riots, which helps give your opinions some context. It doesn't 100 percent translate to understanding SP, his life or motives.

We're theorizing about SP. Personally, I think it's an event with a firearm, in any event, and with his trajectory regarding firearm collection and use, I think it has weight outside of the LA Riot itself. Considering SP's history, it isn't irrelevant. He's in his mid-60s. Twenty-five years ago, he was in his mid- late-30s. A grown-rump adult man. It's not like he was in grade school. IMO

Yes, if those people are planning to set your house on fire while your family is inside.

He was on top of his APARTMENT BUILDING, THAT HE OWNED. There were people inside those apartments.

He had every right to stand on the roof with a rifle during the riots.

How does anyone know he planned to 'mow people down?' That was 25 years ago. If he had plans to mow people down at that time, what took him 25 years to get it started?

I think we should be accurate and realistic when discussing a perps history. We cannot look at every action they take in life and describe it as murderous. Let's be realistic.

Hmmmm....maybe old Clint was getting ahead of himself! I posted that at 5:22 so the same host is on until at least 6:00 Dish guide info says NEW so host must have been and still is Thomas Roberts. As I said, maybe Clint was just blabbing what he had read or heard and didn't take due care to source it. JMO

I travel fairly frequently, not as much as I used to, but, I've never had this happen when I've had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door. Even if I've forgotten to put the sign out, the maid has knocked on the door before coming in the room. I just tell them I don't need anything and put the sign out.

The people on their roofs were not in grade school. They were grown ups, protecting their property from arson and looting.

Widespread looting also occurred. Stores owned by Koreans and other Asian ethnicities were widely targeted.[34]

-I don’t think he had daily ongoing interaction/relationships with law abiding citizens for quite some time. He clearly avoided that across the board. IMO, Marilou was an exception-a citizen who was easy for him to manage. Her temperament, citizenship etc.

Its highly possible the woman who he was seen with is not legal. He was smart enough to find the right profile who would not be problematic for him, before and after the event...dead or alive. His experience with IRS-FBI-POSTAL (government) provided substantial knowledge and opportunity to him for selecting his prey. Willing and Desperate’ come to mind in deciding to interact with him. How was she to know he was making plans. He is strolling the casino just like many others. And now, shes basically trapped-she can’t go to LE (if this is the case). If she is suspect (illegal) i’m sure FBI, LE are hunting for her. Is there additional footage of them that we haven’t seen??

You never left your room? Are they a five star?

Since I was a chambermaid years ago, I am creeped out by hotels even though I stay in them. Maybe it’s just me, but no one knows what kind of person is staying in a room.

I was at $$$$$$ cleaning. Someone had puked in the sink and did mot bother cleaning it up. I know other girls had puke on the bed.

Where I live now, there was a rich old American who had his 16 year old prostitute. She puked all over anf threw something at the TV. They were escorted out . He had to pay $3000 in damages. Quite the talk around town.

Remember the dead body that was found under a bed in some hotel in Vegas a few years ago?

I wonder if hotels everywhere are going to add security measures?

-I keep the sign on indefinitely and make my own bed...if I wish When I travel alone I typically have a pet with me (service animals). Its a win-win for all of us
