I still haven't found out what time this concernt was going to end that night? If the security guard coming to the floor is what spurredd the shooting to take place, and the shooter wasn't ready... then WHEN did the shooter think he woudl be ready? And WHY then? Anyone??

I did find out that, as I suspected, Jason Aldean was the headline act. I also believe he had not been on stage long when it began. The middle of his act probably would have been the time that the highest number of people were present

If Paddock checked into that room under his name on the 25th, then why did they say the 28th? Video is below and he starts talking about this a little bit after 6 minutes into the video. He says Paddock checked in the 25th and then Danley's name was added to the reservation on the 28th. What am I missing here?

Regarding motive, is it possible SP was trying "to teach us a lesson" to highlight what some people view as the proliferation of guns in the USA with little control? Perhaps, he orchestrated this massacre operating under the same rationale of having a cigar at the ready to blow in a smoker's face when the smoke from the offending party bothered him? Just a thought.

From what we know about him, he was a gun owner for 20-30 years before this occurred.

The shooter also climbed on a roof during the LA Riots , armed, and "waited" for the looters, sniper style, and believed in protecting his property at all costs. So....

It looks like this moved from fantasy to reality for him many years later.

I have seen zero proof or evidence of ideology that his behavior and his horrible massacre of innocents has some sort of hidden agenda by the shooter or anyone else to force more gun control on Americans.

The second report said that Paddock checked into anothe room on the 25th because his RSVP wasn't until the 28th for the room and suite he reserved.

Originally, before this earlier check in became apparent, we were told SP used MD's card to check in.

I googled the type of card reportedly used and it was like a club card. It said one would definitely not gamble without using this card. IMO It sounds like a frequent flyer or reward card. It made me wonder if he was using her points to stay in the suite? I have no idea how the casino gives their freebies away. There might have been a freebie stay on her card. Who knows what he was up to!

He is a grown man with minor injuries according to fact he was released from hospital same night. There were gravely ill victims giving interviews the very next night! Stop the nonsense. I can prepare JC in four seconds: Hey JC just tell the truth.

You know, the man is quite possibly suffering from PTSD and is still shook up. Perhaps before this he was also not the interviewing type - may not be comfortable on camera in the best of circumstances. You seem to expect an awful lot from a man who has recently suffered a whole lot in ways we can't imagine.

I've been wondering exactly the same... thought it was just me!

ETA: Wouldn't SP's name have shown up as having the "other" room prior to the 28th, as well as the suite? Ohh, but I guess they weren't looking for any other dates/rooms except the suite.

It's just become "plain ol' tough" to keep up

I don't know what time the show was suppose to over, but this is what I have been able to find. He was in his seventh song. Last night at his concert he told the the audience "I want to play the show for you guys that the people in Vegas came to see but didn't get a chance to." His setlist was 20 songs and 2 encores.
My best guess is he still had an hour to play.

Dang. I just found an article saying it was his last song. Previous articles led me to believe it was in the beginning, saying the other act had played shortly before. 7th song certainly could not have been his last song, then.

And as far as I can tell, he might still have a bullet in his leg. It wasn't removed right away. Surgery was to have happened in a later date, and I don't know if it did. He could be in physical pain in addition to emotional pain.

Owning guns doesn’t mean you aren’t for “common sense gun control” and can get frustrated that “assault weapons” are still available, for instance. Not saying that’s the case for sure, but it does seem like it would answer a lot of questions about why he did certain things. In any case, I’m just saying being a hunter or owning guns and believing in curbing the sale of guns in some circumstances aren’t mutually exclusive.

The brother of mass shooter Stephen Paddock had a hard time Thursday finding an attorney to manage the gunman’s estate.
After firing a law firm that had agreed to handle the estate, Eric Paddock was ***unable to strike a deal***with any other lawyers.

“The majority of lawyers here are representing victims, so the only choice may be to let the court approve somebody,” said attorney Stephen Stubbs, who Paddock hired to help him find a law firm.
Paddock tried to do the right thing, said Stubbs, who Paddock also later fired.
“I tried. I’m done,” Paddock told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I’m going home as soon as possible.”

Clear Counsel Law Group, the firm Paddock fired, withdrew a court petition to oversee distribution of the funds from the shooter’s estate.
“I’m very upset and disappointed with the law firm because ***they didn’t honor my instructions that I paid them to do***in communicating with the media,” Paddock said.

Paddock, who lives in Orlando, Florida, previously told the Review-Journal that he came to Las Vegas last week to help gather his brother’s assets for the victims. He also was interviewed extensively by FBI agents and Las Vegas police.

Clear Counsel partner, Jonathan Barlow, said in a statement before the firm was fired that he had filed the petition in District Court on Wednesday.
“The estate is being opened in order to collect and preserve the shooter’s assets for the victims,” Barlow said in the statement, which was prepared by a public relations firm.

He later told the Review-Journal: “Our interest is to help the victims with the probate, but if his brother wants to go in a different direction, he’s entitled to hire a different firm.”
Barlow said in the statement that the value of the shooter’s estate has not been determined.

Eric Paddock told the Review-Journal previously that getting victims money from his brother’s estate is a big priority for him in Las Vegas.
Family lawyers for one of the victims have filed court papers seeking the appointment of Clark County Public Administrator John Cahill to take control of the shooter’s assets, including a $369,000 Mesquite home.
But a judge has not yet taken any action on the matter.

Yeah, that is why it bothers me. I feel like either it's an invasion of his privacy, or he is in grave danger. We should not know anything about him not showing up for an interview due to a "vague " health concern. If it is in relation to his injury, and they decided to disclose that, then disclose it all. It makes me nervous when people speak for others health ambiguously... They could have given any reason in the world, including J.C., has had a change of mind, he request the media's privacy while he continues to recuperate in the privacy of his family etc.

I have seen reports that he had just started and ones saying this was his last song. On the setlist websight that I have used many times to see concert set lists it says thus was Aldean seventh song.
He was the headliner would he play only seven songs?
I dont know if I can post the link because it is a .fm not a .com, but a search for Jason Aldean setlists brings it up.

Notice he appears to be in total awe that his group would depart the scene without even keeping him in the loop? I say there's a good reason for that and he's just not telling.

Not to get fingers wagged at me for talking about unions... but I have a feeling that this is being used as a publicity stunt by this particular union. I feel like they're parading him around like a prize pony or something. It's especially clear in the photo they took of him where he's looking like "Wtf is even going on" and they have their special union badge around his neck, with a special union plaque, and their union logos on union hats... It reeks to me. Maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully I'm wrong.
