Mr Fudenberg said he would await findings of multiple forensic analyses at Stanford, including a neuropathological examination of Paddock's brain tissue, before issuing a finding on a cause and manner of his death.

Yes. The first 2 shots were at the tanks as per one of Sheriff's statements which I cant search for now cos have ill animals and busy.. but thats what threw the timeline off completely
Thats part of the reason we're all disagreeing so much..
Because, of the reported fracas with JC, then the fracas with sG 2, maintenance man, then smash two v big windows with a small hammer. pics of hammer in most Dailymail articles.. It had a yellow stripe on it..
We cannot figure out how he smashed those massive windows.
If he had done it before he shot the 2 employees every alarm in the entire city should have gone off.. but nobody reported that.
An article at beginning of this thread described an eye witness account, he stated he was looking at the hotel and he saw what looked like an explosion
Charlotte observer was media source.. just afew hours ago..
He also described seeing sheets of glass falling..
He did not go into a timeline though..
I have read lots of accounts of firecrackers going off in close proximity to the stage just before the shooting started..

But breaking 2 mega windows is something that should take quite a bit of time.. he or somebody dID break them before presumably taking shots at the tanks.. sure he could have had his gun lined up with his measurements, wind velocity, the works, all ready to go.. and he could possibly have carried that task out quite quickly..
Also he must have had time to finish his drilling as well cos cops had to bust it wide open when they decided breach was safe.

Theres an awful lot of questions that could have been answered but were not and they are basic questions, commonsense questions.. partly for catharsis and also for curiosity.
Mostly for respect for the families of those who died or were wounded..
Imagine trying to picture how your child died in those circumstances... imagine..................

Maybe the sheriff was genuine in looking out for JC that early on because he anticipated some bs from FBI or MB?

-I’m trying to check every angle of how the 60MINUTES episode could be presented with confidence? I don’t recall if mentioned in the interview that they were stumped then (on air) for an accurate timeline? And it was aired before the SG shot time was changed.

But shooting a tank won't explode it. It's not the movies. So let's say that's the plan. Explode something huge THEN shoot? What's the point in that? That likely would have killed anyone close by. So all that work setting up this sniper nest to explode something THEN shoot? Not buying it.

His planning was flawed considering he didn't suspect open doors would set off silent alarms. Given that he packed up 23 weapons and escape gear, along with descriptions of his oddball and antisocial behaviour by others says to me the outcome of his ultimate plan was grandiose in design. Who knows, if the fuel tanks exploded perhaps the weapons were to be used on police, firefighters and emergency personnel as they attended the scene of the explosion. I recall the sheriff mentioning it appeared SP intentionally turned gunfire toward the police officers converging on the scene.

Exactly. It's like how LE has stated that the security guard interrupted the mass shooting, so the logical conclusion is that he stopped the shooting and he's a hero!

Or maybe he was shot 6 minutes before the mass shooting began, and despite contacting his dispatch, no one called 911, so really the evidence shows he could have possibly done more to stop the shooting but didn't.

OR, maybe he was shot merely seconds before SP opened fire on the concert attendees?

Are there some folks now who support Paddock and feel what he did was ok? Just trying to get a reading on where some of the victim blaming is coming from.

Schuck stated when he arrived on the floor, Campos was wounded, bleeding pretty heavily.

Campos was unarmed and injured. Short of storming the locked door and beating Paddock with his fists, there was no way he could physically stop him.

Campos immediately radioed the dispatch center and told them about the shooting and where it was coming from

Campos was concerned the dispatch center/management understand Paddock was shooting, so he also called them on his cell phone, too

When Schuck showed up, he told him about the shooting and to take cover. Schuck says Campos saved his life, as Paddock began shooting just after that.

All of the above has been documented in PC's and interviews in the news media.

The guy who killed these people is dead and LE is investigating to find out why and who else might have been involved.

Campos movements have been recorded on bodycam and security video, as well as audio from his radio and phone. He's not a suspect or POI, he's a victim.

Maybe what they are implying when they say they don't have surveillance cameras in the hallways is that they don't have, as you said, "monitored" cameras.... hmmmm... and that would explain the link i posted earlier that shows evidence of there actually being cameras in the hallways at MBay.

The millions/billions of dollars at stake concerning this whole situation is astounding.

I refer to both the stock price of MGM as well as future business at Mandalay Resort hotel.

In my opinion, it is in the interest of the stockholders of MGM to see this investigation wrapped up as soon as possible. The changing of the timeline will, of course, help this.

I am in no way suggesting a conspiracy - just looking at the possibility the force of money and power to put a closure to the investigation.


Mandalay Resorts Group was purchased by MGM Mirage in 2005 for 7.9 billion dollars.

Whatever's left they want to examine it. Autopsies can take months. So far there is no official COD (as far as I can tell), so I don't think there's an answer to your "Which shot killed him?" question.

We can't just post phone numbers that have been associated with SP at some point in time and start sleuthing on any old name that seems to have also been associated with any of those numbers. Even if they are somehow related to SP (friends, relatives, exes, etc.), we can't sleuth them.

Example: I moved last year and just popped my old phone number into google. Hits come up indicating the number is also associated with two people whose names I have never heard of.
