This is my first glance at the photos released today. I noticed the doors to the suite that caused so much confusion due to the way one of them was horizontally leaning against the other (we could only see one half of it). Here it is showing that entire door face down on the floor with no visible holes in it (positioned like a yoga mat). Am I seeing that correctly?

The bar seems to have been the laptop nerve center.

is that SP was one of the weirdest dudes I ever even heard of in all my life.
he had googled types of gear cops use when entering a crime scene.. think maybe he was plannin' on oxygenating himself somehow but I swear my brain has just collapsed into a heap in my skull and I don't know what I can do in order to wake it.

Its a damn good report.
It was a damn good presser.

And maybe I'm beginning to get a glimmer of how fried Sheriff Lombardo's brain had to be because of it all.. and maybe that's cathartic or maybe I'm just brain dead right now and by morning i'll be like a bat outa hell again about something.

The only conspiracy theory I could come up with was that Paddock was behaving like someone whose mind was not under his own control.

I am, actually but I cannot guarantee my mind processes were stable when I started to swing..
I think (gawd), I saw compassion for the victims in the presser coming from him. And reading the 80 pages twice and knowing I'll need to read them again gives me a perspective I had not held on the vastness of it all.
I think the report was very good.
Diagrams, accurate etc.
Layout well presented- a lot of good work went into it.
The diagram of the positions of the victims was particularly poignant and upsetting, it was like reliving the whole event again from the outset, but without the healing.. balm.. it was pretty rough reading..

He wants to be re-elected.
Before today I perceived him as being weak and dizzy, today he did seem strong, calm and looked as though he had managed to integrate the trauma and was able to convey the meaning of it in the gravity of the words he chose.
He wasn't afraid of it.
Its a change I never expected to see.
And if you're surprised , i'm flabbergasted.

Your reflections are well written and I respect your point. I haven’t read anything so far today with the exception of the brief one on finding . So, I have to do my duty in reviewing it before I can comment on him specifically. I’m not sure what I would have to see or hear to revisit the possibility of him not being straight up on things but, hey, new knowledge and correct information can have a changing affect. Still though...so many unanswered questions...

I think he tried to construct some sort of makeshift breathing apparatus with it to lessen the effects the smoke and gunpowder would have had on him. I think he taped a snorkel mouthpiece to one end of the tube and a funnel of some kind on the other end of it. At least, that's the best guess I can come with after reading the evidence descriptions in the investigative report.

I think to drain water from that tub. Maybe where all the shells were landing? Casings are pretty hot right after they are fired. Totally guessing...
