West Wendover police seek help in missing person

Police are looking for the whereabouts of Ammon Kashiwagi.
Kashiwagi last contacted his mother on March 3 by text message.

Ammon was observed on surveillance video leaving his residence and driving away in a white 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up truck with unknown license plates. He is 5’08” tall, weighs about 175 Lbs with Brown hair and Brown eyes.

"Mr. Kashiwagi has since been located in a remote area of western Tooele County, deceased," said a statement from the department...

At this time, it appears he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said WWPD.
