Circumstances of Disappearance
Ortiz and his girlfriend, Isis Copado, were reported missing to the Las Vegas (Nevada) Metro Police Department on October 1, 1994 (Case No. # 941003-1649).

On October 9, 1994 Isis Copado was found deceased near Baker, California along 1-15. She was not identified until October 26, 1994.

Cesar and his vehicle are still outstanding. It is unknown if Cesar is responsible for Isis's death, or if he is in danger himself. Cesar has family in Las Vegas, Nevada and Toreon Coahuile, Mexico. He has not been seen or heard from since October 1, 1994.

His last known address in Las Vegas, Nevada has been vacated. Vehicle: 1994 white Toyota Celica, Nevada license number: 113E8W

Details of Disappearance​

Ortiz and his girlfriend, Isis Copado, were both reported missing from Las Vegas, Nevada on October 1, 1994. On October 9, Copado's body was found along Interstate 15 near Baker, California.

Her remains were not identified until October 26. There was no sign of Ortiz at the scene. As her body was severely decomposed, the cause of Copado's death is unknown, but there were no obvious signs of trauma to her remains.

Ortiz remains missing. It is unknown whether he had anything to do with Copado's death or whether he is himself in danger. Ortiz may be driving a white 1994 Toyota Celica with the Nevada license plate number 113E8W. His case remains unsolved. San Bernardino County, California police are investigating. They have lost all contact with his relatives and would like to get back in touch with them.

His case is so weird to me tbh. No trauma to the remains of his girlfriend and he magically disappeared? Huh.

I'm gonna assume Cesar and Isis had an argument which led him to kicking her out of the car somewhere in California and making her fend for herself, and then cesar drove off.

was Isis previously a UID listed on NamUs or the doe network?
