There is a one hour interview with her sister on YouTube posted 6 months ago about her disappearance.

ETA: The video is very informative - the sister gives detailed information.

Her correct first name is Cherllyn (one y).

Jessica says her sister had been dating a man who was extremely controlling and that she often had to sneak just to call her family.

Jessica says the boyfriend told family that Cherllyn had left him and he hasn't heard from her since.

Henderson police, family seek answers in disappearance of woman missing since July

Interestingly the sister didn't mention anything negative about the boyfriend in her interview 6 months ago.

I wonder if any of the locations shown on Cherllyn's AllTrails profile have been searched?

Since the last article contains a little more information, a few questions can be asked.

According to the article she has three children. Were the children living with her and her boyfriend? When they (allegedly) broke up, where did the children go? If they were taken in by relatives they would have noticed her lack of contact and reported it. Or were the children told that she abandoned them and stayed with the bf? Why didn't he report her missing if she did not visit/call the children? Did he try to call her?

Some of the answers can be found in her sister's interview, but not all. She doesn't accuse anybody in it.

Can we ask for mod's approval for individual yt videos where the case is explained by a family member? It could make discussing it more productive and take into account some aspects that are not known from MSM.

If you have the link to this video, please alert on my post and include the link into the alert. This will allow the team to check if an exception can be made and a mod will confirm if so and if it can be discussed. Thanks!

According to the sister, Cherllyn lived with the boyfriend and their three children. He's the bio dad of the youngest one; the oldest girl is 15. The bf claims that he and Cherllyn decided to break up and asked the children who they wanted to live with. All three children allegedly picked him. Cherllyn then left in the middle of the night. She was a driver for Uber and Lyft at the time. Some time in August the family moved out of their apartment. The neighbors thought they saw Cherllyn, but the sister thinks it could have been her daughter who looks similar. Cherllyn's car was spotted throughout August in a certain area. It was found abandoned in mid-September in a different area. The welfare check was started at the beginning of September by relatives who last heard from her in July. The bf says that he wasn't aware that she had not been in contact with family after leaving. Her phone seems to be switched off. Her fb was deleted at some point.

I'm not sure how much the investigation has progressed since the above interview. I found a few points worth exploring.

First, Cherllyn's children. Allegedly they corroborated the bf's story that they chose to stay with him. It's unclear if they physically saw their mother leaving. If it happened in the middle of the night, IMO chances are that they were asleep. The oldest two are 14 and 12 which seems old enough to not be fooled by too obvious lies about their mother. They must have accepted the bf's version. Currently they are staying with maternal grandparents while the youngest daughter is with her father (the bf).

Cherllyn's car was seen multiple times around town after she went missing. Who was driving it? Who took it to another part of town to abandon it? Why would Cherllyn ditch the car after two months?
Was someone spooked by the search for her? I'm not sure if the public was aware of the police involvement by then, but the fb was. According to the sister, surveillance recordings were already overwritten by the time the police got to them. The car wasn't forensically processed because the family didn't have legal access to it.

Cherllyn's employment records with Lyft couldn't be examined because there was no basis for a warrant (no sign of foul play). This is one avenue which could always be reopened.

There was an aspect of substance abuse. According to the bf Cherllyn and him started doing drugs (casually) not long before they broke up. He claimed that the day she left she brought drugs into the apartment and he didn't approve of it.

The sister stated in the interview that the bf was fully cooperative with police at the time. He even asked her for fliers to be distributed in the area where the car was found.

The bf claimed that Cherllyn and him at some point decided to have an open relationship. The sister said in the interview that the bf wasn't jealous, but in the latest MSM article from a few days ago she stated the opposite - that he was extremely controlling. Maybe the family learned new facts during the past 6 months.

IMO it's possible that Cherllyn left on her own, although it is strange that she fell out of touch with her family completely and especially with her children which she reportedly doted on. According to one theory she might have left with a another man. It's also entirely possible that she was a victim of foul play, either at home or elsewhere, even at her job - although in that case her absence from work would have been noticed quickly.

I hope more information starts coming to light which could bring her loved ones closer to the truth.

Whenever I hear “missing” and “controlling partner” I usually have one foot off the fence.
When one leaves an abusive situation safely and on their own, it may take some time but they generally do reach out to loved ones for support and resources. Also, to get the children out of the home of the abuser in case the anger bleeds into those relationships even if they haven’t previously.
I’m not feeling very good about this...
Did her bf delete her fb? Not a good sign. Moo

Interesting comment re controlling behavior at: Henderson Police Department

Another question came to mind: What does "left in the middle of the night" mean? Did she take any of her belongings with her, apart from the phone? If she left all her things behind (e.g. she left to work), what was the reason for not reporting her missing?

One person has been charged in the case.

According to court records, Philip Mathew O'Reilly was indicted in connection with 35-year-old Cheryllyn Beardall's death. Beardall was last seen in July 2020; her vehicle was found Sept. 2020, according to Henderson Police.

O'Reilly faces a murder charge and two counts of child abuse or neglect. According to a court indictment, O'Reilly is accused of beating Beardall to death sometime between July 20 and July 23, 2020. O'Reilly reportedly beat Beardall with his fists and a dog leash, the indictment alleges.

<snipped>

So now we learn more about the children - from the article above they were probably scared to death to speak out:

"O'Reilly faces child abuse charges because Beardall's two children reportedly witnessed the attack, the indictment said. One child, a 14-year-old, was reportedly forced to babysit in a nearby room while the beating took place; the other child, an 11-year-old, was reportedly asked to bring O'Reilly the dog leash used to beat Beardall and later bring ice packs to his mother after the beating".

And this info from another article:

"Beardall’s two children, 11 and 14 at the time, last saw her — beaten and bloody but still alive — on a corner of a bed in the primary bedroom of their home in late July, authorities said".

and

"In another case, O’Reilly also faces 27 counts of lewdness, sexual assault with a minor, and child abuse, neglect or endangerment in connection with abuse and sexual attacks on two children dating back a decade before Beardall went missing".

How do you process something like this? I hope those poor kids get lots of love and help for this traumatic experience.

O’Reilly is facing two counts of child abuse because Beardall’s two children witnessed and heard the beating.

Social media messages linked man to Henderson woman's disappearance, court records show

Hundreds of emails and social media messages led detectives to connecting a boyfriend to his girlfriend's disappearance, according to court documents.

Phillip O'Reilly was indicted by a Clark County grand jury in the disappearance of 35-year-old Cheryllyn Beardall. Beardall was last seen in late July 2020 and was reported missing with Henderson Police in September 2020.

Law enforcement issued subpoenas for hundreds of phone, email and social media records to connect O'Reilly to Beardall's disappearance.

A timeline of the case - you may have to zoom in.
O'Reilly also told the friend that Beardall started doing hard drugs and left to be with another guy.

Philip posing as Cher to her worried-sick friend after he murdered her. Absolutely disgusting.
Prosecutors interviewed eight witnesses as part of the grand jury proceedings, including two of Beardall's children, her sister and O'Reilly's sister.

Beardall's sister told prosecutors that O'Reilly was controlling and limited who her sister could see outside the house. Beardall's children echoed the claims of control, and said O'Reilly would sometimes assault Beardall during arguments. The children claimed that they were also abused by O'Reilly.

Both children said they didn't see their mother leave, according to grand jury transcripts. They said their mother left all personal possessions behind. O'Reilly reportedly told them that Beardall "didn't want to be there anymore" and left.

Completely agree on this.

I won't share my thoughts and opinions here concerning O’Reilly, but without question this is a horrible case, and the MSM reports are filled with very disturbing details. A tragedy without question.

April 21, 2023 update -

[…]

Beardall disappeared in July 2020, and while she was never found, police say they found evidence that Phillip O’Reilley killed her. Now, as a condition of his plea agreement, O’Reilly must lead investigators to her body.

[…]

Overall, Beardall’s family is relieved they won’t have to go through a lengthy trial reliving their beloved Cheryllyn’s death. However, they tell FOX 5 that closure is still difficult to find.

O’Reilly’s sentencing is set for June 7. The family will be there, with Achilles set to give an impact statement directly to O’Reilly.
