Kelsey Turner, a former Maxim and Playboy Italia model, made national headlines when she was arrested in 2019. Initially, Turner and her boyfriend, Jon Logan Kennison, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Now, Kennison changed his plea to guilty in the killing of Dr. Thomas Burchard of Salinas, California.

Turner’s next hearing is scheduled July 5, 2022.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man will serve several years in prison for the murder of a California doctor whose body was discovered in the trunk of a car at Lake Mead.

In June, he pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit a murder, and murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

On Tuesday, a judge sentenced Kennison to 18 to 45 years in prison.
