Las Vegas police are searching for a woman who went missing Thursday afternoon at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Elisabeth Reeves, 34, was last seen about 12:10 p.m. Thursday near Lost Creek Trail, which can be accessed via Scenic Loop Drive in Red Rock Canyon. She was wearing a dark jacket and a black sweater with blue jeans and flip flops. Reeves was also seen carrying a black backpack before she went missing.

Police said Reeves might be in severe emotional distress and in need of medical help.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing person they say may be in "severe emotional distress and in need of medical assistance."

Elisabeth Reeves, 34, was reported missing on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 12:10 p.m. at Red Rock Canyon near Lost Creek Trail. Police say she was last seen wearing flip-flops, a dark jacket, black sweater, and blue jeans carrying a black backpack.
Reeves is a white female, approximately 5'4" with blonde hair and several tattoos, including one on her throat. Anyone with information is encouraged to call LVMPD at 702-828-3111 or 702-828-2907.

She was found near Lost Creek and Ice Box Canyon, not far from the area where she was last seen, and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue are attempting to lift her out.
