This is another case that I tried to do an FOIA request for and it was denied due to the sensitive nature of the case, which is kind of surprising considering theirs so little information on this one.

He was married at least twice. In the 1960s he was married in 1966 to Catherine Louise Reich but they divorced in 1968. In 1983 he married a wife called Sharon L. and they divorced only 2 months before he disappeared in April 1986. I wonder if this latter marriage was a remarriage as Ancestry also has a record for James E Thurman marrying Sharon L Lance in Los Angeles in 1972. There are no records showing a wife called Pat.
