NV NV - Las Vegas, 'Spring Mountain Doe', WhtFem 30-45, UP6709, 'Louie', 'Riley' tattoos, May'09

Does anyone have access to NV or UT birth records? I think the Riley tattoo is a "mommy" tattoo that a mother gets when she has a baby, this case a daughter. I don't know if one needs a first and last name, but it might be worth a shot.

I agree that it's more likely a daughter's name than her own name. Riley is not a common first name for a woman of that generation.

It looks as if this UID may have had a stroke, the left side of her face is dropping severely. Going by the shape of her nose alone, I have found a missing sex trade worker with a similar shaped nose, the height and weight are very close but my missing person had a tiny heart shaped tattoo on her left breast but one was not mentioned on the Doe. No mention of Riley. She left behind a young son, was Riley a common name for male children in 1995?

I think the drooping mouth is just a normal postmortem effect. I've seen plenty of postmortem photos where the decedent has distorted lips and mouth.

I use Corel Photopaint. It takes a while to get used to painting with a mouse, but I am getting used to it.

Riley is a rather popular name for boys and girls alike. The SSA records only go back to 2000, but it ranks fairly high up on the list for both genders:

I did a quick search of birth records at ancestry.com. of the few jurisdictions that have birth records available for say 2000-2010, between first and middle names, Riley seemed roughly evenly divided between boys and girls.

The flower with it would make me inclined to believe that whoever Riley is, she's a female.

Riley is a common dog's name. It could be her deceased, well-loved pet. (My daughter wanted a tattoo with her deceased cat's name. I *think* I've talked her out of it!)

The ME should be able to tell if she has given birth. Is there anything in the reports to indicate this?

Nothing in the Namus profile...

she has dental appliance in her mouth if you blow up the picture you can see, to your left, or her right. Could be a filling or spacer.

Also I noted that she did pluck her eyebrows at least a few months before her death. in some areas, looks like she use to really pluck them nicely but then just plucked the lower outward part. You ladies know what I mean if you blow it up....Just click on the picture on namUSto blow it up.

Wish they had this information in there

This looks exactly like a girl that grew up with us on our street as kids (but it's not.)
It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture. Then to read everyone else saying that too, was really suprising. Either you all know Megan too, or there are a lot of people who look like this Doe.

My friend was 100% Irish. Makes me wonder if our Doe is Irish.

Long shot. Partially because pictures from Namus aren't wanting to load right for me today, and I can't get a good clean look at Jennifer for comparison. If someone else can, it'll likely rule her out. The stats and the some of the piercings looked good, so I figured I'd post her.

ETA: Got to digging around into Jennifer's past, and although she has a child, his name starts with an I, so I doubt that this is her. Tat doesn't match either. Sorry. Like I said, things aren't wanting to load right.
And the UID is vaguely familiar...does she resemble someone really popular and that's why she looks like someone that several of us feel like we've seen before?

Jennifer has a Tattoo of the initials "J.G." on her right foot. Also, it says her DNA and fingerprints were submitted, so that should be a rule out by default?

My friend has a son whose name is Riley. He was born in 2002... (Just to put that out there, Riley could go either way for a boy or a girl)

I just saw a (non-scientific) poll in a magazine that asked women if they were to get a name tattooed on them, who's name it would be. It was something like 51% child.
