Looks like this is a naked body wrapped in two blankets and buried with her clothes thrown in.

Still, not much to go on.

Bumping up. She's still in NamUs. I am curious if they made any rule-outs?

That’s so weird… Why on earth would whoever buried her not dress her up?

I'm fairly sure this is the namus listing for Lucille Payne- not sure when she was identified but it looks like the same case.
Lucille was found in 2021. Jane Doe was found in 2020

I wonder if the throw is by brand casper - plaid wool throw autumn mulit.

Most likely reason is that she died naked. Dressing a dead body is not easy (or so I’ve been told, never tried it).

A hypothetical scenario is that this woman was a guest/visitor, died naked and someone wrapped her in two blankets, dug a hole, put her in it and threw in her clothes.

There seems to have been no estimate of how long the remains had been there?

It feels like this UID is not on LE's priority list. There must be more to know about this remains. Old healed broken bones visual or more recent? Dentals? Child birth? There was still insect/animal activity, so there must have been some flesh left (sorry for being graphic) Probably hair left (last thing eaten by insects). It's save to say this wasn't a very old (historical) skeleton when it was found. My guess is they are protecting the homeowner(s), market value and not disclosing this info for the public to see.

If you follow the map in Namus, you'll end up on "Parking lot", Las Vegas, NV 89129, approx nr. 3962 Coyote Ridge Ct, Las Vegas, NV 89129, but I'm not sure how accurate this is. It looks like it's not a at random mark on the map. Selling data of this property is out there. 3962 Coyote Ridge Ct, Las Vegas, NV 89129 | Zillow It was also rented for a while. My guess is LE has tracked this info down already, but it didn't lead to the right info to identify her.

Yeah NAMUS is helpful, but their map pins -- not very accurate.

Not enough long bones for a height estimate? Likely the pelvis present to determine gender.

Have to agree -- how much time & effort was applied here?

It could be the missing info just hasn't been entered online. As for where the remains were found, even if that isn't the right house, it's probably the right neighborhood. The house was built in 2002, so it is a newer neighborhood. That would fit with the remains not being all that historical. I looked at the backyard though, and the houses are built very close together there. It seems like it might be a challenge to bury a body discreetly, unless some of those homes weren't built then.

If the house was rented as it apparently was, then it could be the owners or company who rented it no longer have rental records from years ago or did it not keep good records or any, perhaps. That defintely could hinder the search for the identity of this body. It doesn't sound like this body could have been there before the house was built and the developers etc missed it because it was in an area intended for the backyard?
