I assume the Estimated Year of Death being 1986 is a typo given the Estimated PMI is 2 Months and the Condition of Remains is "Not recognizable - Decomposing/putrefaction"

Or the date the body was found is an error. Maybe the person creating the NamUs profile in 2015 accidentally entered the current year instead of 1986.

That's also possible. No rule outs currently so no hints there. Thanks for pointing out the typo, I'll report it to the mods so they can fix it.
