I'm so glad they were able to release the details, and that she was prepared to stay with her vehicle. Great job by the State Road Crew in finding her!

ETA: I was so excited when I first read the article about how she was rescued, I missed the part about the private plane pilot, assisting with the search, was the first to spot Michelle's vehicle. Kudos to that pilot for helping out!

What a happy day to read she was found safe!

I can see why she took that road - it looks really interesting and with incredible long vistas.

Kudos to her for being so prepared and immense thanks to the private pilot who found her.

One thing I learned about also being prepared is to set a smoky fire if you get lost. Someone will notice it. So bring along a couple of presto logs and an extra quart of oil. and some stove or barbeque starter - she’d sure have a lot of sagebrush for a fire !
