Found Deceased NV - Nancy Vandenput, 57, Fernley, 22 Nov 2017

Lyon County Sheriff's Deputies need your help finding a 57-year-old woman who was last seen earlier this week in Fernley.

The family of Nancy Vandenput says they are worried for her well-being because she needs her medication.

They say she was last seen driving a 2006 Chevrolet HD four-wheel drive pickup truck with Nevada license plate VM3783. There’s a USMC bulldog sticker on the back.

Deputies say she is known to have ties to the Reno area.

Vandenput is white, approximately 5'4" and weighs 101 pounds. She has green eyes and wears glasses, and has sandy blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a flannel jacket of unknown color.

How do they know that she does not have her medications with her? Is it possible she went to visit someone for the holiday and just has not returned? Many questions.

I am confused. There is a fb page with her name, photos of her but it seems she posted a link about herself missing. I want to think someone, a family member logged onto her fb and posted?

Also, this article doesn't mentioned medication but adds endangered.

Sadly, Nancy has been located deceased.

Lyon County Deputies and the Storey County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash on Six Mile Canyon Road in which a deceased woman, 57-year-old Nancy Vandenput, was found in a pick up truck.

The vehicle was located in a ravine off the north side of the road.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
