I’m just now following this case. What a heartbreaking story her mom tells of not being able to come to the US. I hope this young lady is alive. Holding out hope.

Regarding the extremely casual clothing she was wearing, I don't think it's necessarily significant. I have a long commute to work and often wear super comfortable clothes for the drive and just change in the bathroom at work before my shift begins.

I would be interested to find out whether or not she has been known to do the same thing. Though, if this is a brand new behavior for her, then that would be significant IMO.

Also, I watched a vid of an amateur reporter and she stated that Naomi's car was parked on/near Stanley Rd near the Lowes. The photos we have of the Investigators cars with storage sheds in the background seem to back up this suggestion that her car was found at Lowes.

Lowes is pretty much the next business down Stanley from Walmart, and is also in the direction from which the POI was walking from according to the photos we have of him.

I think the suspect parked at Lowes, walked through the homeless camp to get to Naomi and then circled back to Lowes with Naomi. I think it'd be useful to procure a photo/location of the homeless encampment to gauge its' size and how easy it would be to walk through it.

I think this was a targeted abduction as in he'd been either watching her or communicating with her with the intention to either traffic her or well... you know. :(

I just pray that she can be found in time to survive.

I'm curious whether we would have a different situation if her manager had called her next of kin (brother/room-mate) when she didn't show up for work, didn't call in. Her shift must have started around 6:30AM. If someone had called by 8AM to ask where she was, the alarm would have been a lot sooner than 3 days later.

HECK, we can't even get schools to call that quickly. IMO

@Allabouttrial Thank you for the recap of the news conference ( I needed my glasses lol). Much appreciated.

Of course, but I've never worked anywhere that would let you wear the equivalent of pajama pants to work, and I worked at some pretty crappy places during my college years. I wouldn't hesitate to if they let me though, ain't no shame in my Shlumpadinka game.

I just learned of this sad case and started following it today. It does seem that this may have been a targeted abduction, and if the truck was not stolen, if it is local, someone would likely have recognized it. I know there are a ton of trucks on the road, but being a 4-door, it would tend to be noticed more readily, I think. I almost wonder if this perp is someone from another town, perhaps relatively nearby, who she may have made contact with online. I hope LE is poring over all of her social media accounts in search of clues, and hope that she can be found soon. JMO

Thank you everyone for your posts, such great information. I live in the UK, so it's really helpful reading what you've written (things that I can't find out here).
I'm following Naomi's disappearance with great concern. It's absolutely terrifying what's happened to her, just praying for a miracle for her now

Has it been said anywhere what time the shuttle picked up and what time her shift started? I am just curious how early she would get to the lot and sit checking social media. I'm curious how many other employees would ride that shuttle and if any others were already there when she was abducted.

Unfortunately, if this is targeted, and I am leaning that way, if she got there quite early and the perp knew that and knew she was isolated in this parking lot with no one else there yet....it was the perfect opportunity :(

Lyon County Sheriff's Office - Nevada
10 mins. ago.

The Lyon County Sheriffs Department is currently working with the Pyramid Lake Police Department and the FBI in the area of Hill Ranch Rd and HWY 427 in Wadsworth searching the area for possible evidence. We do ask that people avoid the area at this time, we are not requesting any assistance as to not damage any possible evidence. Thank you!

One thought I had was Walmart employees. If I’m looking at the right Walmart on Google, it opens at 6 AM. But sometimes stores have stockers who work overnight, and even if not, openers may have to arrive between 5-530 for a 6:00 open. It could be targeted and at the same time be someone unknown to her. Is there a worker who routinely comes on or off shift around 5 and noticed her sitting there day after day? And maybe planned this for their day off. Totally MOO but something to consider.

I can't get this young lady out of my head. I need our professional map people. From Walmart to where the car was found and to where the truck was spotted on the road. I feel like this was prearranged at this point. How did he drop her car off and have a truck unless it was stolen ( which would have been reported) or borrowed ( I would hope the owners would have reported) or it's his. Any of our famous mappers here?

Interesting ... so if I understand the sequence correctly - the POI potentially parked the Chev truck at Lowes. Drove back there after abducting Naomi, left her car, moved her to his truck. Headed out on Duffy Road/343, driving past Sherwin Williams (caught on camera). Duffy intersects with Nevada Pacific HWY, where you can then jump on HWY 80, which ends up in the area @Allabouttrial posted LE are now searching.

The search area (Hill Ranch Road & HWY 427) is generally here, ironic that's near a Youth Wellness Center - Google Maps & Google Maps

Is there a McDonald's connected to this Walmart?
There are many daily McD's customers for coffee/breakfast.
Easy to target someone if they have the same schedule.

This case is heartbreakingly sad especially for her family. It’s also very scary.

My initial reaction is someone that works in the area (perhaps even at the Walmart) and has been watching her for awhile. Her brother stated she always arrived early, and parked in the same spot. Habitual routines like that make it easy for an a abductor to know your patterns and formulate a plan after watching you for some time. It feels like that’s what happened here.

The hours at that Walmart are 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Naomi was there at 5:00 AM I believe.
