I’ve read every post and still not understanding the shuttle portion?
Why didn’t she drive her car to Panasonic and park in employee parking?
I’ve never heard of this except at airports
It looks like Panasonic in Reno is ~36 miles from Frenley. So maybe to save on gas and also, her car is 30 years old

Thank you!
The idea of leaving ones car at Walmart while taking a shuttle seemed so odd, had no idea a company would have such an option !

I haven't seen it either but maybe it depends on the area/size of the company?
The sad thing is the shuttle would seem to be safer for her compared to driving an old car that far one way, risk breaking down on a busy road etc. But you just never know where the real danger is :(

Panasonic and the Tesla gigafactory are linked and it’s a giant area with security in and out. Thousands of people work there and I know some people who don’t want to deal with the hassle of driving in and out. And the location of the factory is kinda in the middle of nowhere (it’s not really around anything else besides other factories). Also, that stretch of road to get out there has a lot of accidents that happen so a lot of people just don’t want to drive it. Because of all of that, they offer a free shuttle service to employees both from Fernley and Reno/Sparks (it’s located in-between Fernley and Sparks so most of the workers come from those areas). It’s advertised as like an employee “perk”.

The truck in the still that shows Naomi's car and the perp is a RAM.

Are we talking about just a regular employee though for either Walmart or Panasonic? That truck is not cheap.
While I understand your point, I wouldn’t get too stuck on it. My 18 year old son has a 2016 Corvette. He works full time and has for a couple years. He saved up about 8 grand for his down payment and makes monthly payments on his car. He works for a grocery store so it’s not as far fetched as you’d think.

I agree! I would think there are plenty of employees at walmart that this is their second job. Maybe got behind on some bills because of COVID, took a part time job to supplement income.

Do we know where the homeless camp is?

upload_2022-3-20_0-48-21.png

The suspect came from the direction of the homeless camp.
Based on the video, is this arrow pointing in the direct of the location where the suspect is first seen? The direction of the homeless camp?

Where did the shuttle stop? It looks like people wait for the shuttle next to the building under the security camera. The blue vehicle appears to be backed into the stall. When the shuttle arrived, I'm guessing everyone parked somewhere at the end of the lot to free up spots next to the front entrance.

I'm looking to create a map that shows locations for the truck, the homeless camp, the abduction, the car, the truck. Is this the correct location for the car? Where was the truck parked?

What did the other people parked there think when she left? Were they all looking at their phones and didn't notice? No one reported it to anyone?

Amazing putting all this together! They've stated that wherever the homeless camp is located is also in the direction of where her car was located (and hypothetically where the truck was parked). So, the suspect could have been walking from the homeless camp, but also from where they may have parked the truck (hypothetically). Earlier I think someone in the FB group posted a couple maps showing the exact location of where the car was found so maybe all of that information can help put it together. They may have also posted one showing where the homeless camp is. Let me go see if I can find it.

If he parked his vehicle near Sherwin-Williams, what route did he take to get to the Walmart parking lot? Did he park at Lowel's Garden Center?

Where did he park his truck?

The truck wouldn't be noticed at Lowel's, except if it was parked at 4 AM.

After she was abducted, where did he go?

Does it seem like the suspect lives in the area? How big is that area? Are people from Reno familiar with shuttles in the area, like shuttles in Mexico might take workers to their factory shift?

Ok, I’ve marked where Naomi’s car was found. I’ve also marked a possible parking area for the truck. And I also noted that if the truck was driving East, as alleged earlier based on the shadows it cast in that still photo, then it would pass directly past the Sherwin-Williams cameras (if those are where the still photos came from). Further up that road in that direction is a way to get onto the freeway (I-80). D689779D-E95F-4214-9E43-CF7EB9BD500D.jpeg

This is not to suggest that this is a murder, however we do need to consider all possibilities.

What do we know about kidnap murderers? How far do they travel to murder? Do they leave the bodies between the abduction site and their home, or farther away?

What do we know about the first typical victim of a kidnap murderer? Is it a 5'11" woman, or someone smaller?

What do we know about kidnappers that appear to be planned - stalking a stranger. I can think of a couple offhand: BTK and Russell Williams. Both of these men would plan every detail in an abduction, from where to park their vehicle, to what time to abduct the victim, what to wear, how to overcome the victim, to how to ensure their licence plate is never visible, how to switch vehicles before the sun went down and evade authorities, to how to walk under surveillance cameras and not be recognized. Just a thought, but it's possible that the person behind Naomi's disappearance is not a first timer.

Thank you! Thank makes sense.

That would be the route that the suspect took after parking Naomi's car and retrieving his truck - East past Sherwin-Williams on Hwy 80. Perhaps it's a good idea to look in the Lovelock or Fallon areas for similar trucks. I'm guessing that after picking up his truck, he was looking for the fastest route home - which appears to be Lovelock? ... given highway choices?

Based on the sheriff’s press release today, the suspect was pacing on the East side of the Walmart. This also makes sense bc in google images, the only side of the Walmart that has planters (which can be seen in the released video) is on that East side. And in the video you can even see that overhang thing/covered parking area bc it looks like the suspect is right next to it. Naomi’s sister posted a couple hours ago that, at the very end of the video, the suspect is looking directly at Naomi’s car which is right offscreen. I’m posting an image of where I believe he was standing and then also where I believe (based on the info) that Naomi was parked. Which means she was parked on the East side of the building. And the locals all believe that the most likely route the suspect took between the Walmart and the Sherwin-Williams is on that East side (I’ve marked it in an image below)BFA2B217-8572-4E7D-9263-222AF910A07E.jpeg .

The other thing is that that route is kinda something only locals know about. It’s not a main road in and out of town that everyone uses. I don’t live in Fernley, but I’ve been to that Walmart multiple times and I didn’t even know the road went that far past the Walmart. So it really seems to only be something people know about that are either from the area or know the area fairly well. Truckers are also known to park along that route almost daily (based on what locals have said and also someone went out to that location today and there were trucks parked out there). Since I-80 is a freeway that goes across the country it’s a major trucking route and there’s always truckers stopped along it. At least in this area. There’s even a truck stop almost directly across the freeway from the Walmart. I’m not trying to say I believe it was a trucker. I’m just trying to say that, along with locals, truckers are also people who would be familiar with that side road.

Yes! I was also just thinking, would you like to also see the area where LE did major searches on Thurs & Fri? They stated that they were drawn to that location based on cellphone pings (unknown whose cellphone).

Thank you for help with mapping what we know. It helps for me to visualize the area, which is important for my understanding, and I assume it helps others too.

I would. I've checked various locations and see that some areas are now marked as "checked" by infrared drone, helicopter or plane. There seems to be enough information about this abduction that there can be an arrest, even if it might take longer to find a body in that desolate, barren Nevada wasteland looking area.
